Little Evil | Netflix | Adam Scott, Evangeline Lilly

Guys, I was scared.
Al and all of the dumb parenting jokes made me lol. So many artsy fartsy transitions... Which were almost distracting. It wasn't bad, but also wasn't good.

Question of the Day

I missed the 90's one!! Mine is far and away 3 Ninjas. I have seen that movie an absurd amount of times. I would rent it every time we went to the rental store (and Monkey Trouble... That was my jam, too). It still makes me laugh. Can't wait to make Evie watch it with me. Rocky loves Emily. Rocky lo...

I agree with Bridesmaids. Just never really got the obsession... Wasn't bad, but I wasn't obsessed.

Favorite Disney movie: Beauty and the Beast. I could probably recite that movie by heart.

Favorite Pixar movie: probably Inside Out?! All the Toy Story movies are great, so it is hard to pick one.

Update on Reese.

We have had kids in our district that have aids with the FM transmitter/receiver technology. It becomes part of the teacher's routine very easily... and it is so awesome how accessible it makes all of the learning for a kiddo with hearing loss! The video of her signing what she wants to be when she ...

New White-Owned ‘Hip-Hop’ Restaurant Has Both Asian And Black People Outraged

The phrase actually came to popularity in the movie Full Metal Jacket, when a couple of Vietnamese prostitutes say it to try to entice American soldiers (I think...? Something along those lines). Then it was sampled by 2 Live Crew. I've heard some people are upset with the fact that it was originall...

Chris Wagner - rugby question. (kind of)

Well, on our teacher teams it is probably a 10:1 ratio women:men, or something like that. But on our administrative team it is probably closer to an equal amount of men and women, because there are so many female coaches. He has had both sets of teams watch that video multiple times... I remember th...

Chris Wagner - rugby question. (kind of)

He is also making us read a book about the best teams in sports history from around the world, and the All Blacks are the only team on there twice (80s team, 00s team). The book described in great detail how the team's captain, Buck Shelford, got spiked in the groin during a 1986 match against Franc...

Chris Wagner - rugby question. (kind of)

As a former rugby player, Chris, is there as much hype about the New Zealand All Blacks as I am led to believe? I only ask because our superintendent is OBSESSED with them. Their culture/unity is what he wants us to emulate. He made all administrators and coaches read their book, and has had us watc...

What do you mean I looked beautiful THAT DAY?! Do I not look beautiful EVERY DAY?! Omg, we are breaking up. But seriously, that was very sweet of you to say, Ty. Wedding planning is so much stress for one day! I would have done some things differently in retrospect, but I have memories of my family ...

I got a cool little magnetic playset for Evie ($10 I think), some fine tip sharpies for work ($10), and a new straightener because mine is dying on me ($40, originally $100... 5 star review). Tyler knows none of this.

Gluten-Free/Health Food Thread

Sorry for being so late on this. I have been having stomach issues for a while now. I think 90% of it can be attributed to my job change. It has been exciting, but kind of high stress for me. I tend to hold all my stress in my stomach, so that hadn't been great. However, I also inherited an incredib...

Where the babies at?

She is a pretty good eater, she just really prefers healthy foods! You could get her to eat a pound of fruit before she would eat a bite of bread. She is also just built super tiny. She looks totally proportional, she just is petite. Like her daddy. ;)

Where the babies at?

When we went down the potty aisle, she was screaming "POTTY!" Then she grabbed her butt and said "I have to poop." (She didn't. She just knows that's what potties are for.) I am a little worried that if we do potty train her soon, we won't be able to find underwear that will fit ...

Wake my kid up ONE MORE TIME with this shit, I dare ya, neighbors! I'm all for some fireworks fun at a reasonable time... But you live in a small community with many families... Don't make it sound like world war III at 10. And even on the 4th, I know what I'm in for. But nearly every night?! Nope. ...
