Robot Vacuums

70787 I was getting frustrated with mine dying after 30-45 minutes. He would stop and turn red and beep. I assumed the battery was somehow dead. I got smart enough to look up the beep codes in the manual and figured out his brush was jammed. Was easy to clean and he's now back to day 1 performance....

Re: RE: Woodworking

One last question, can you even feel the cracks between the boards after sealing it? Yes you can. The poly doesn't affect the cracks that much. To not have the cracks you'd have to have perfect boards with perfect 90s on the edges. I was considering attempting this with the table saw but didn't thi...

Re: RE: Re: Home Automation

Corey, you may have convinced me. I washed my comforter today and it caused my washer to overflow and I'm now mopping up water. Would your water sensors have caught this right away? Does it send a notification or what? Im guessing it was only doing this for a few minutes so maybe it wouldn't have h...

Tyler wrote:I'm very impressed Corey. What did you seal it with? How soft does the top of it feel?
3 coats of oil based polyurethane. It doesn't feel soft at all. You can't dig a fingernail into it or anything like you would before the poly.

Re: RE: Downsizing - Matt Damon, Christoph Waltz, Hong Chau, and Kristen Wiig

We saw this on Christmas Eve day. It was a fun idea for a movie but the resulting movie wasn't as fun as I wanted it to be. Spoilers below. The first half or so of the movie was pretty much what I was expecting. It explained how downsizing came to be and goes through the dilemma of going through wi...

Now I'm questioning the kind of pizza we get. I think we are Jack's as well. I once bought a "premium" frozen pizza because it was on sale and it wasn't worth the 3x in price. Lotsa Mozza is all we get now. They are oftentimes BOGO for $10 (which is the most we'd pay) or $10.99 for two at...

The Room (2003) and The Disaster Artist (2017)

We saw it the weekend before it was widely released so it was completely packed every showing all weekend. It was the only theater in the area showing it.

The Room (2003) and The Disaster Artist (2017)

70138 Saw The Disaster Artist last night. Erin watched the honest trailer for The Room so she wasn't completely lost. Definitely need to have some knowledge of The Room before seeing this or it'll just be a weird movie, but I enjoyed it. I laughed a lot during the movie, but I feel like I was the o...
