Question of the Day
Closed. It is my FU to the women who complain about the toilet seat being up. If I have to put the seat down, I will close the lid so they have to do extra work as well

Glass, did you set up your Nest with SmartThings? It's not officially supported but the community has some neat stuff around them.

I got a new router and changed WiFi names. I had to reconnect all devices (34 total :x) to my internal and guest networks. When I determined which network it was going to connect to, I thought about whether there was anything internally that needs to talk to these devices. My Wyze cams talk to nothi...

The Fire tablets also work with it so you can mess with that and stash it somewhere out of reach.

80837 Corey, can I put a door sensor on Evie's bedroom and then have it trigger a Google Home to say "Get back in bed Evie" once it detects the door opening between the hours of 8pm-7am? Evie left her room 5 times last night. It was a long night. There are hacky ways to do this. I tried a...

80785 Corey, question on the water main robot. Could you set it to turn off the water when you leave the hous or a few hours after you leave? You might be running dishes or laundry so don't want to immediately turn off. I know this is taking things to an extreme, but curious if others have done tha...

Costco has the 10" Lenovo Smart Display for $150. Killer deal. If I had an easy way to get back to Costco (was with sister yesterday) I would buy it and sell my 8" for $75. Maybe I'll make it there by the end of the month, otherwise the 8" one is fine for me. I found someone to buy i...

My unit was $500 and the steering wheel interface, backup camera, and dash kit was $230. I installed it 3 years ago. I usually don't plug in my phone for a short ride but I have a phone holder with the cable dangling inches away so it isn't much to plug it in when I get in the car. When I plug in my...

You guys are amateurs! The multipurpose has a tilt sensor specifically made for garage doors. It shows up in SmartThings as a garage door when you set it up that way. You don't use the separate magnet in that scenario. You mount it on the top panel of the garage door. https://support.smartthings.com...

Wags, get a SmartThings hub yesterday? Got it today along with the water sensor. Set up the water sensor in the sump hole, sensors on the door going to the garage and the garage door. Haven't set up the smart plug or the motion sensor yet, need to decide what to do with them. Are you using the tilt...

I've had the Zinus for two years now and I have no complaints. I've never had an expensive mattress though so I don't know what I'm missing. I have multiple family members who've bought one as well and they like them. These are so much cheaper than the other options so I'd recommend starting there a...
