Re: New and old Netflix shows and movies.

I binged The Rain this week. It was decent enough for a show to kill some time throughout the week.

Smarch (Smart Watch)

If you're getting something, at least get an Wear OS watch so that you can have the best notification experience. All the other ones that say they do notifications seem to suck. After wearing mine for a few years, notifications are really the only thing that keep me wearing it (other than telling th...

Cutting the cord

74546 Can't wait to cut the cord in a few months. Is that when your contract is up? How much does it cost to cancel early? I saved money a few years ago by paying the $XXX to cancel early vs keeping my account open for another 4 months. Yeah it's up in September I believe. It's not necessarily abou...

Home Automation

74460 Thanks dudes for explaining all that. Smart vents seem like a great idea. It's why I want my next house to be a ranch. It's hard to keep the temp consistent across all floors. I bet it's 10 degrees difference between basement and bedrooms My downstairs is currently 9º colder than the upstairs...

Home Automation

I don't like the Nest version because of that reason. At least with the Ecobee remote sensors, they have presence sensors as well so it can decide which areas to keep at the desired temps. That still doesn't make sense to me unless those rooms had control of the airflow. Maybe I'm not fully underst...

Yes. Exactly but cheaper.
I applied this today now that the snow is gone.

My lawn will look like shit this year because my weed killer killed huge patches of weeds last fall but seeding this fall should fill that all in nicely.

I need to label my drawers because there are so many drawers that it'll take a while to remember where I put everything. Still have a couple empty drawers for new tools!

Did you try to haggle after the guy was an hour late?

I didn't get there until about 10 minutes before him so it was fine.

Re: Woodworking

Got a new to me tool chest today and got my tools all organized. They were mostly strewn about the bottom of my work bench and would get coated with sawdust anytime I used the saw. Still want to get some bins to put the bigger power tools in and put them on the bottom of the work bench. Right now th...
