Manchester by the Sea- Casey Affleck

I think everyone should see it and form their own opinion. I feel like Awright missed the point of a lot of scenes. I can't really speak to what the message of the film is. I see it as just a sad story about a broken man. But it's the only movie that i still think about after seeing it and you all ...

Favorite Films of 2016 so Far

I really need to see Moonlight too. I slept on my thoughts about Manchester by the Sea and decided it had its moments and that should be enough for me to appreciate it. I think Casey Afflecks role was clearly what's been raved about most but I've also seen a lot of praise for Michelle Williams as we...

Spider-Man: Homecoming

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbLP_SmhtuM Really feel good about them getting Spider-Man right this time. Don't get me wrong, no real complaints about the previous two...just didn't feel the part. The movies were fun to go to but they probably didn't help the actors do the part any justice either...

Baywatch... SUCK IT BLUE JACKETS!!!

It looks great! I got that 21 Jump Street feeling when watching the trailer too...half expected the police officer to be Ice Cube when he appeared near the end! A crossover would be amazing, imagine the awesomeness of The Rock, Jonah, Efron, and Channing Tatum...I think my mind would explode. Sent f...

Does Bill and Ted fall into said category? It's definitely a bromance!

Black Mirror (modern take on Twilight Zone for awright)

It's kind of like Twilight Zone (as referenced in the title) in that a few episodes are definitely more memorable and stand out. I think the Waldo Moment episode was mentioned on this forum somewhere once...very similar to the election this year

Poor Ryan Lochte, he has been in Phelp's shadow his whole career but, then again, he's pretty arrogant from what I've heard about him

Ghostbusters Remake

I saw this a few weeks back and left disappointed. Long story short, I felt the lead women were great and the general "feeling" of the movie was good but the story and some of the comedy just fell flat. As with a lot of remakes, it just didn't have the magic of the original series. The end...

Adam Sandler Signs An Exclusive 4-Movie Deal With Netflix

I think I commented on his last film in its own forum and I would defend the deal too. As long as he keeps putting out films, someone will watch them. I think had these movies had their own theatrical runs, they would have failed...but Netflix is the hot thing and I know people pick random stuff to ...

I have yet to watch anything but USA basketball...tough game Wednesday night against Australia but it's been a blast watching NBA stars adjust to international rules and play. They've beat every team by over 40 for the most part but they can really be exploited by countries with talent Sent from my ...

August Movie Meet-Up: Animated

I'll give this month an honest try from here on out. I didn't join in the voting but am willing to watch pretty much anything. I don't know what happened with July movie but I hope to contribute more this time around! I have seen a lot of news about the ScarJo movie and had this movie written down a...

Pete's Dragon -live action from Disney

How many of you forgot this was a thing? Opens Friday and at 86% with 25 critics I watch Cartoon Network and Disney Channel for a solid hour each day at work and they have been advertising this like crazy all summer....I think the advertising had the opposite effect it was supposed to because I no ...

Ben Vos and I loved the .hack games on PS2. I try to find them when I'm in a used video game store. So good...I never finished playing all the GU series of games but still have them and the Sign DVD's so I may have to get into that again As for SAO, I'm going to have to check it out this time aroin...

I've heard good things before, I was a huge fan of .hack Sign and all the video games too...similar concept. Games started on PS2 so I don't know if anyone would go back and play them now but they continued the stories well
