Tyler's VR Game Recommendations

72077 The bow/arrow game in The Lab is one that I always show people who aren't into video games/haven't used VR before. Same kind of thing where you don't need to use any locomotion and there aren't a bunch of buttons to figure out, but you still move around and use your whole body for the full VR...

Travelers - Netflix

Anyone else watching this? Kathryn and I just happened to watch the first episode a week or two ago. It's about people going back in time from the future in order to prevent apocalyptic-esque events that happen in the 21st century. Very good! Every once in awhile they just decide to stop following a...

Hostiles - Christian Bale, Ben Foster, Rosamund Pike

72001 I wish I would have tried harder to see it. Comparable at all to Bales other western, 3:10 to Yuma? Thanks for posting in here and not the list thread! Ughhhh.... I think I liked 3:10 to Yuma more. Hostiles is a lot more emotional though and creates more drama. 3:10 to Yuma is basically just ...

The 15:17 to Paris - Clint Eastwood film

71754 One point that really turned me off was when they got to Europe, they we're flirting with the hostel front desk lady (kind of, acting was so bad you can't be sure) and she walks up a spiral staircase ahead of the guys. The camera proceeds to shoot up her skirt. Seriously?! Is that even adding...

This movie was spectacular. Christian Bale did a great job. A very different take on a "western". Pretty emotional. Nice gunfighting.

71994 Did your school have ROTC? I just learned what it was last year. It's basically army-like things for high schoolers? Advanced boy scouts? High school is JROTC, college is ROTC It's just additional information/learning on what the Army is and what it's like to be an officer, I think. Honestly ...

Join the Army. or at least ROTC. I like development a lot, but you can do that in the army too.

71348 More of a western. It's set in post-Civil War western US. Christian Bale has been imprisoning/killing Native Americans on the frontier for years and now is ordered to escort a family of Native Americans back to their homes and free them so the old Chief can die in his homeland (he's sick with...
