Ocean's Eight (female spinoff)

I've only seen Ocean's Eleven in full, too. I really liked the original but turned off Ocean's 12 and never saw 13. I liked this new cast yet how they brought in a few characters from the original in and had a few parallels in the storyline to the original without being overkill. Sent from my Pixel ...

Things you don't know, but should as an adult

This may sound 1950s, but I'm not confident sewing. I'd always have my mom fix a hole or help hem clothing. I was gifted a sewing machine years back (that I haven't touched recently) but don't keep the basic needle, thread and sheers handy.

Based on the trailer it looked spooky [emoji12] Glad it's not technically the case!

Sharp Objects - HBO Mini-series

I'll see if I can read the book before it starts. I'd like to see this, too. I can't handle a lot of scary shows/movies but like the twisted mind plots in Gone Girl and Get Out.

Subscription services you use

I got the 4mo free trial of Google music hoping to like it but I'm gonna stick to Spotify. I haven't used YouTube Red from it and not sure how the 2 music services compare.

Haha yeah it was nice seeing you both! Meg I dragged Chris out Fri, one of these days all 4 of us can be there for a sweet and sweaty double date [emoji12] Yeah I can't lay or on my back or stomach and have to keep my HR down. I just take more breaks when I need to and focus on my breath (#yogi). Ge...

I also really liked it. Just like the first one it keeps you laughing the whole time with witty humor. Of course they set it up nicely for #3!

I Feel Pretty - Amy Schumer movie

Saw this last night. I also really liked it and was laughing out loud all throughout the movie. I like that the humor didn't feel super forced, rather a lot of relatable awkwardness and random commentary. I liked how the characters that seemed so perfect had their own insecurities to make it not jus...

Oh Meg that is too funny yet awful! Such a weird coincidence indeed. I want to see this, hopefully we can get to it over the next few days.

MoviePass - $9.95/month for unlimited theater movies

I have similar criteria. Although have just done it once, I had a 3-4hr span between needing to be somewhere so it worked well as a fun way to fill that time. I've thought about doing it other weekends when Chris had a sampling, too. PS Tyler you're so funny [emoji12] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapa...

Big Little Lies - season 2

Yay! Excited that so much of the original cast is coming back to hopefully make for a good follow up season. It's fun seeing Adam Scott in a serious role, compared to his nerdy and funny role in Parks and Rec.

Agreed on Michael B. Jordan [emoji91][emoji91]

Also, Eric Church makes me melt every time I see his little side smile/smirk. Nobody pulls off aviators quite like him [emoji12]

Game Night (2018) - Rachel McAdams & Jason Bateman

I really liked this movie! So nice to have a comedy that wasn't all crude humor or trying too hard. Jesse Plemmons as the awkward neighbor was one of my favorite parts, his facial expressions alone had me laughing out loud.

The Post - Steven Spielberg - greatest cast ever?

I saw this over the weekend. It was a little slow at the beginning, but I ended up really liking the story. It's not one that I think will win for best picture, but the cast really was great and while this took place in the 70s, so many themes still apply today. I expect statements on women in leade...

Black Panther (2018)

We saw this yesterday, too. I also really liked this and was in the boat of "I guess if he wants to see it I'll go" to "yeah I want to see it, too." Glad we did because the scenery was really cool on the big screen, especially flying into Wakanda for the first time. I also agree ...

I loved the Tide ads, too!! Also I read there's been a lot of backlash against Ram for using the MLK quote in their commercial. Serves them right for making fun of the Vikings [emoji6]

The Shape of Water - Guillermo del Toro

I hadn't read anything about this movie before seeing it last night. I agree it was a very unique story and I found it kept my interest. It's a mix of a melancholy and hopeful feeling that these characters were all bonded over the fact that they've been alone. Agreed on points made, especially about...

What's a show you wished more people watched?

I tried so hard to finish the One Tree Hill series since I was obsessed in high school, but it kept taking turns that were just so bad and hard to watch now. I'm still watching "This is Us" and really like it a lot! Old show- "Parks and Recreation"- I've been watching this on Net...

Toys R Us Closing 182 Stores

I saw this earlier today. Not too surprising based on all points made already. Also,I remember my Mom wouldn't want to take us there because they were more expensive than Target and other nearby stores.
