Acquisitions

I read about the Amazon taking on Whole Foods. My hope and I'm sure the hope of others is that Amazon can help to lower the prices of the grocery items here. I like shopping there, but the phrase "whole paycheck" is a real thing. I haven't ever heard of self service Amazon stores and I lov...

Favorite Light Beer

When I lived in St. Louis, we'd drink Bud Select (40 cans for $17.99 fit in the intern budget). My Dad also likes Select so once in a while I'll have it at the cabin or their house.

Busch light was what we'd get kegs of in college...still can't drink it lol.

I was looking at one in Clear Lake but on the application it talks about doing home visits...not sure if they all require that?

Dog

I'm open to a young dog (1-2yrs), but would be fun to have it when they're still a puppy. Yeah I also wasn't aware that most rescues in the Twin Cities have puppies $400-$500. I understand paying for vaccinations and spay/neuter, but like Chris said you think they'd want to make it easier to adopt!

Jerky and dehydrator

I've thought about buying a dehydrator. I love dried figs and mangoes- have you tried those yet? How did the peaches turn out?!

Bachelorette - Rachel

My coworker and I were talking about how "whabam" was clearly a nutcase around the guys, but around Rachel seemed to be a tad normal. I'm guessing he won't last much longer.

Any favorites?! I like Peter, DeMario, Kenny and Dean so far.

Fads

I had never heard of spinners until my co-workers were talking about their kids using them only at home vs school. I remember Pokémon cards got banned from school when I was in 4th grade- but these seem much more distracting lol.

I had an inflatable chair, too! Not super comfy but dang was it cool.

Agreed. I hope he's a good fit because this movie sounds so intriguing!

For the past 2 years Wagner has only worn brewery t-shirts when a collared shirt isn't required

Truth.

Scandal

I stopped after Olivia got "kidnapped" a few seasons ago. I loved this show at the start, though.

The Last Man On Earth (Fox)

I agree that I don't like shows that don't have a consistent run of a season. At least this show it's easy to pick up. The ending has me excited for the next season!

13 Reasons Why | Netflix

I really like the idea of "why NOT." That's a bit how it wrapped up- Clay reaching out to the girl who cuts herself, Jessica opening up to her Dad... I feel like a school shooting would just backslide the progress they were starting to make.

I'm curious about what angle they will use for season 2. It got so popular that I was guessing they'd make at least one follow up season.

47 Meters Down - Mandy Moore, shark movie

I don't think I could handle this movie. Open, ocean water is one of my biggest fears. Interesting to see Mandy Moore take on a different genre.

Nice weather and biking

I bought my bike at Dick's when they were having a sale. It made it easier to decide being able to test out and compare different models. Not sure if you have a local bike shop that carries similar brands/sizes to try out before getting the discount online?

I've had Jersey Mikes 2x and wasn't that impressed...but they were both free so can't complain. I've never tried FH. The other sub place I like is Which Wich- lots of possible ingredients and you order by checking off items on a paper bag. Easy to customize and avoid rattling off your list of reques...

Better Call Saul - Season 3

I didn't get the whole tracker story, either. I just noticed the 2 (1 he found in the yellow car and 1 he bought). Mikes character continues to be my favorite of Saul- his scenes are always so smartly told with little dialogue. Chuck for sure had planned Ernie to hear that. Asking for him to put the...

All that Chris mentioned and hopefully finding a weekend where we can go camping. Duluth was a good time last year, so maybe that or another area that has bike trails and breweries.
