The Lighthouse - Willem Defoe, Robert Pattinson. Drama, Fantasy, Horror

Apparently it's based on the Smalls Isle Lighthouse. That was back when only two people manned a lighthouse. In 1801 two men were operating a lighthouse on a small island off of Wales. One of them died and tossing the body into the ocean would make the living a suspect of murder, instead he tried to...

The Blackcoat's Daughter (2015): Two girls are left at a boarding school during the winter break. Rumor has it the nuns are satanist... ohh noo... Meanwhile an escaped mental patient is picked up by a couple headed in the direction of the school... what could happen next?! I've had my eye on this mo...

Things That Annoy Me

having to tell someone to do something multiple times even when it's something that we/they do on a regular basis. Examples: - I load up fiber reels on trailers at work. Well when the reel isn't very wide we put pvc sleeves on each side of it so it's not moving side to side too much. Every damn time...

Wilkins List of Horror Movies That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

Tis the season for spooks and scares. Cube (1997): 6 strangers wake up in a cube-based labyrinth filled with deadly traps. With a wide range of personalities, they must work together to in order to escape. This is a must if you're into "one-room" movies. I haven't watched this one in awhil...

American Horror Story

everything thing is a twist in this show. finally one twist was ok. It would have been better as a singular twist towards the final episodes. Are all seasons of AHS like this or this one even more guilty of twists for twists sake? It's been years since I've actually watched a season, but I don't fe...

This show moves a mile a minute, and it's still boring.

Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House

I finished this. That last episode really ruins what I wanted the show to be. Now if I were describing this show to someone, I would say it's a family drama with a supernatural catalyst. Has some spooks and scares, but that all fades away in the final episode.

Bi-fold. I could really cut down on the size of my wallet because I really only use 4 cards and my ID on a regular basis. Rarely use cash except at bars. Also I'm a front pocket carrier.
Steps: depends

Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House

Started this tonight. Made it through 3 episodes before needing to get ready for bed. I'm kind of on edge on whether I like this show or think it's just fine. The one thing, oddly, putting me off is Theo's touch. I'm sure I'll finish this over the course of the week and read what has already been sa...

Marianne (Netflix Horror)

I don't need a season 2. after the priest said "she wants your womb" I put two and two together and realized it wasn't Seby, Emma slept with. The Demon and floating Marianne had ridiculous faces but were still unsettling. I liked the Marianne leading Emma down the trail scenes. All in ...

Are You Afraid of the Dark?

So I thought I saw a thread about the renewed series on Nickelodeon, but could only find one about a movie (also from a few years ago). Anyway, a three part mini-series aired the first part tonight. It's similar to the Tale of the Silver Sight, that takes place outside of the campfire. I believe thi...

It just happened to be on last night when I switched back from netflix. Pulled up this thread saw no one has posted since the trailer, decided to record the next showing, and take the bullet for everyone. If you want to watch a movie similar to this, watch Cube. Cube has more mystery, better charact...
