HBO Sets ‘Chernobyl’ Miniseries to Star Jared Harris

84017 Mostly the idea of “forceful backup” where anyone of any rank can stop an evolution if they are not comfortable with how it is going. I assume you take advantage of this often. No way. I want to get this shit done so I can go home. I would totally be on the wrong side of history on this one.

HBO Sets ‘Chernobyl’ Miniseries to Star Jared Harris

I was getting so stressed out during the flashbacks. They did everything so wrong. Our reactors are designed without those flaws but we still have rules that we have to follow based on everything they did. Mostly the idea of “forceful backup” where anyone of any rank can stop an evolution if they ar...

HBO Sets ‘Chernobyl’ Miniseries to Star Jared Harris

I’ve been watching. The show is really good and it is doing a really good job of explaining things. In reality 3.6 roentgen(rem)/hr isn’t an ungodly amount of radiation but a lot higher than I am used to seeing. For comparison we set our individual limit at 100 mrem/yr. I’ve received about 60 mrem ...

Spider-Man on PS4

Evie loves this game. I let her watch me for a bit, first time she's ever seen me play a PC/console game. I made sure to do no combat missions. I just did side quests to find backpacks and take pictures. After awhile she asked to play and I let her. She just moved the joysticks, but that was fun fo...

Watching now. I love it. There is an entire episode that is a cold open and then just a eulogy. And it is fantastic.

Spider-Man on PS4

Well I guess if nobody else is going to play it... it’s pretty fun. Reminds me a lot of Arkham city. I’ve been avoiding the main story and just doing the side missions. They did a really good job of recreating New York. I found the pond where they did the duck races in Stuart Little.

Clapping at movies

Tyler wrote:My sister said it happens for all movies here and she forgot it wasn't common everywhere.

You're right wallinga, it's a way to get people excited for a midnight showing or something, but they said it happens at every showing

You’re right. I hate enjoying daytime movies.

Clapping at movies

I don’t have a problem with it. It shows the crowd is excited and will react more to the movie. You know it is more fun when everyone agrees to have a good time.

They are filming parts of this at my base. There have been Tom sightings. I assume I will be his best friend fairly soon.

Modern military use drones so human soldiers aren't in harms way, the Avengers don't have anything like this?

Yep. Ultron.

Downsizing - Matt Damon, Christoph Waltz, Hong Chau, and Kristen Wiig

Why was this not marketed as the movie where Matt Damon gets yelled at by a Vietnamese woman for an hour and a half? I would have seen it so much sooner.

What about strong independent parents?
Wait...is there a Christmas movie with a single parent? Maybe single parents know Santa is real?

That’s why I included grandparents and Jim.
