Star Trek: Discovery

So, everyone needs to give this a shot. Star Trek superfans hate it, because it has a different tone, but if you can get over that, the show is really well done, and has a lot of great production value.

I got a bunch of my MN friends hooked on this already.

Because... 1) critters came out the year you were born (or a year earlier) 2) a 6 year old should not be at...

I assume this is a fake award show that they created just so they could win, exactly like Nathan for You did with their Johnny Depp impersonator movie.

That would be the best outcome.

Fi is doing a trade-in program for the new Pixel XL 2. The Pixel XL we just got for free counts as 400 bucks towards it, so the 64GB version is only 250 bucks :)

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Eh, agree to disagree. I overlook a lot of flaws in a lot of movies, but this one repeated a lot of them over and over, and it drove me nuts. Maybe I was just in a bad mood.

I typically love Spider-man movies, even though most of them haven't been good.

67178 That's the beauty of this, it WASN'T an origin story. I thought it was great things picked up immediately where Civil War ended. We don't need Spider-Man's backstory because everyone knows it. I think this was a redeeming factor for sure. I loved that they didn't go through the spider bit and...
