I dabbled in the first one back in the day at Glass's house. Never kept going with the series but I've always been interested in it. I've considered buying the first on the cheap just to see if I wanna get into it.

I too am glad they brought it up because I was wondering the same thing. I guess that's a good excuse. The thing that concerns me is when they said that the zombies are starving to death. I was always of the mind that zombies didn't NEED to eat, but that it was just their instincts.
I would agree with you if they were telling them to stay. But all they did was give them food, rest and medicine (again, Andrea was almost dead and now she's not because of them) and told them they were free to leave if they wanted to.
