There is a 40% chance Apple will acquire Netflix, according to Citi

I don't want this to happen. Sure, Apple could fund the movies, but I don't want to pay more every year to watch a slightly different version of the same show.

New Year's Resolution 2018

My goal last year was to not give a shit about work so much. I kind of scaled that back too much. Maybe my resolution this year will be to only play video games HALF the day while WFH.

I'm watching the subbed version. This is great so far. Reminds me of channel zero a lot.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War

Gondor quests are boring. The fortress and the Nazgul ones are the most fun.

I mean...but I'll watch it. Pretty sure Tyler will too, although more likely he does it in a VR room.

70026 Good point Chris. I thought the arm would play a much bigger role. If Eggsy could have the arm so easily why didn't they hack the robot dogs? Because that wouldn't be as funny as Elton John helping defeat them. This is true. I can't even believe someone sat in a room and pitched this idea, bu...

When I originally watched the first movie, I hated it for some reason. I watched it again on the flight to India, so I had to pay a lot more attention and loved it. I wouldn't mind seeing this in theaters.

70011 We caught up (but there is probably a new one tonight). The episode with Rosa coming out as bi to her parents was really sad. It was nice her dad was willing to keep his relationship with his daughter but the mom needed more time. Then it was so sweet/sad when Jake and everyone went over ther...

69869 Overall I really liked the movie, but I didn't love it like a lot of people did. A minor complaint I had is all the young men on the beach looked alike to me. They all had dark hair, wore the same clothes, and usually soaking wet. I couldn't tell who was who. For the next war, I'll make sure ...

Do we need a purge sequel?

Also, how do you organize anarchists like this. It kind of defeats the point.

69833 AMC comfirmed that Carl is dead... when they return after the midseason break. As in he won't be in season 8b at all? I still don't trust anything they say though. There should be a thesis written about this show. Early seasons were almost all good, with a few duds here and there. Then it swi...
