There are so many prestige shows that people like to go back and rewatch, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Wire.

GoT could have been one of those shows. Because of the final season hardly no one will go back and rewatch it or even recommend it to new people

I've seen other comments on the internet like this, but it really is crazy how large a cultural phenomenon GoT was and it was almost instantly irrelevant after the finale because that last season was so bad.
