Little Finger lives to scheme another day.
The fight with Arya was brutal. I thought she was progressing better than that. That was evil sending her to a play where her dad is made out to be an idiot.
That's pretty hardcore to drown in order to become king, and the fact they didn't even try saving him, he had to do it on his own. There are a lot of Greyjoy loyalist to leave the new king. I can't imagine you can build new boats and catch them.
It looks like the Lord of Light priestess in Meereen has the same (or similiar) necklace as Melisandre. Is she an old lady too?
Everyone laughed out loud at Tormund smiling, right?

Wow. That ending. Did George RR Martin have Hodor= "Hold the door" planned back in 1991 when he started the book?
I was kind of confused about warging out in that final scene. It seemed like Bran was controlling present day Hodor, but how was he still in the flashback witnessing past Hodor?

I like to think past and present hodor's swapped minds in that sequence. Sad ending for sure.
Yes we all laughed at the sexual tension between Tormund and Brienne.

It really messes with things, like is Bran actually time traveling? Should be a good week of podcasts. I'm very confused with what I just watched, other than it was sad. Was Hodor holding the door on his own or was Bran forcing him to do so?

I'm so bummed out that I'm not even thinking about how it happened. [LOUDLY CRYING FACE]

Still trying to wrap my head around the logistics of the Hodor stuff. Like I said, I will post podcast theories later in the week. In the meantime, here's some thoughts.
Bran's visions have to be actual time travel, but he is invisible during these trips back in time? At the Tower of Joy, Bran yells out to his dad and it sure seemed like he heard him. In the Willis/Young Hodor timeline Bran is able to warg into the kid giant and plants the "hold the door" thing in his head? Bran is able to overhear this in real life and understands the importance so he forces this into Hodor's adolescent brain.
I think this is when it DOESN'T turn into Terminator 2. Nothing you can do in the past can change the future, because you already did it in the past. Present day Willis was already Hodor, because in the past Bran already did the deed. Is it pointless to try changing the past?

So I guess this is the season where they just kill every damn direwolf then.
Also, they successfully changed the future in Terminator 2. Terminator is the one where her son is fathered by the man sent to the past by her son.

My bad. It's like that other movie that proves nothing you do in the past can change the future because you already did it.

Finally got around to watching this episode and now I'm depressed.
