u guys might consider these spoilers

Game of Thrones: HBO confirms 69 minute season 6 finale, plus titles of last two episodes

The title of episode 9 (and this is the spoiler-y one) is “The Battle of the Bastards” – presumably referring to the epic Jon Snow vs. Ramsay Bolton face-off that’s been teased all season. The Thrones showrunners have previously told us that season 6 includes the biggest battle in the show’s history and it’s fair to assume this is it. The running time is 60 minutes, which is firmly on the long side. That episode airs June 19.

The title of the finale is “The Winds of Winter” – a nod to George R.R. Martin’s forthcoming sixth novel in his A Song of Ice and Fire Saga (which was also given a verbal shout-out by the theater troupe in Braavos earlier this season). The finale is a whopping 69 minutes long – which makes it the longest Thrones episode ever. That airs June 26.;

More on this. They released the titles obviously but are refusing to release the episode descriptions.

Longest episode ever tonight. The weekend took a lot out of me, still deciding if I want to watch tonight or not

Previously on shows Dorne. I guess we aren't going to pretend that plot line never happened.

The trial is about to start. Do I want to see Cersei get off easy? It's hard, they did a great job of making her seem so weak and pathetic now.

They are really good at engraving stuff into forwards. I would hate to be an early member of the church before they had all the practice.

What is happening with all these kids and the music?! Oh god....

Remember when I said that stuff about Wildfire and you all said I was dumb and wrong? RIP Margaery

HE TOOK THE HELMET OFF!!

Holy shit...Tommy boy...Cersei is not going to take that well.

A library that size doesn't even make logical sense!

Sansa: I should have told you about him and the Knights of the Vail. Whoops. Sorry.
Understatement of the season.

So many females! Danny, Asha Greyjoy, Olenna Tyrell, Ellaria Sand vs Cersei vs Sansa/little girl leader

  Tyrion becoming the hand of the queen.

Arya learned baking while at the House of Black and White.

Have we always known Littlefinger's end goal was to sit on the Iron Throne? I thought he just liked moving the pieces around.

Jon was such a cute baby! Fan theories confirmed! The King in the North. The King in the North. The King in the North. The King in the North.

After 6 seasons Danny is finally heading to Westros!

So Jons dad is a targeryean right? So now he is heir to that throne. I think I read that somewhere. Will sansa have to fight Jon??!?

Jon Snow is not Ned Stark’s bastard son at all. He’s his nephew. The son of his late sister, Lyanna Stark, and of Rhaegar Targaryen, Daenarys’ older brother.

I'd like to question the travel time issues. What's the length of travel time between two points. Are there worm holes everywhere?

She could just marry him to strengthen their ties to Winterfell...cousins can probably marry with no political issues.

Yeah, I brought that up with the people I was watching this...Lord Varys travels from Meereen to Sunspear (just a guess, don't know what city/town he goes and find "allies" at) travels back to Meereen with his "allies", then he's on a boat (mother fucker) heading back to Westeros (with his flippie floppies). All in the amount of time that it took Jon to fight a bastard, talk to his "half-sister" and hold a meeting with the Lords of the north?

Show runners have said many times that the story lines shown during an episode are not all happening at the same time. Thats good enough for me to stop over thinking the time problems

No one thought the stuff she would do in Westros would be lame, I just thought the stuff at the house of black and white left a lot to be desired. We didn't even learn the full rules or mechanics of changing faces.

It was actually very common for Targaryans to marry their own siblings. It's one of the excuses that Cersei and Jamie use to justify their incest.

I haven't actually watched the episode yet so I spoiled the shit out of it for myself by reading this thread. I'm glad that R + L = J is confirmed, I always liked that theory.

I am not super familiar with the mad king and the Targeryean name. This makes Jon and Sansa cousins. What is Jon's relation to Danny? Half siblings or cousins or other?

Danny would be his aunt.
