Wouldn't they be half siblings or am I missing something?

Mad king is both of their father, right?

Instead of waiting for you nerds, I just googled it. http://www.bustle.com/articles/169236-how-are-daenerys-targaryen-jon-snow-related-on-game-of-thrones-they-come-from-a

Well, Daenerys' father was Aerys Targaryen, aka the Mad King, and Jon's father is presumably Rhaegar Targaryen thanks to the R + L = J reveal. Rhaegar was Aerys' son and Dany's brother. So, that would make Jon Snow the nephew of Daenerys, which I love, like, a lot.

If only someone had posted that last night..hmmm

Danny would be his aunt.

And would actually give Jon a better claim to the thrown, as he would be the grandson of the dead king, son of the crowned prince...direct line. Where as she's the youngest daughter to the dead king...

I think this might of been one of my favorite episodes of the series. There were no really big reveals or moments, for people paying attention (except for the king just walking out the window...holy cow), but there were no low, look at my phone I'm bored, moments. It moved the stories along and got us pointed to the end story where we could see how all the characters are going to be involved.

And the actress that plays Lady Mormont...damn, she's good. Just start giving her gold trophies now. If she told me to go to my room, I was grounded, I'd believe her and do it...

The plotlines may not be taking place at exactly the same time but they can't be that far off of each other especially as they are all starting to converge.

This season as a whole has been great. Last season was pretty lame with the expedition of Hard home.

I agree. It was a well-deserved episode that pushed the story along in the right direction. I like that literally everyone's stories either progressed or ended in this episode (with the exception of the Hound and Brienne, since we didn't see them this episode). Probably one of the strongest episodes in the entire series.

R+L=J is a big, big theory that is finally true, which is awesome. Glad they decided to solidify that.

I know, but it still takes me out of the story...

Oh my, that was a good episode. I didn't want it to end. Even though I had already read this thread, it still took me by surprise how Tommen just walked right off the ledge.

I'm so intrigued by Jamie's storyline. I have no idea how it's going to play out and who's side he'll be on. He has ties to each faction with Cersei, Tyrion, and Brienne. He's the most conflicted character in the story.

It basically didn't. It was the tv version of LotR: TRotK. 13 endings later...(which I loved)

When Jamie was at the party he wasn't being checked out by the waitress, he was being sized up by Ayra. She is also in frame when the guy was referring to himself as a king slayer for killing Rob Stark and his mom.

Don't. There is no way you noticed it because it wasn't until after those scenes that it was revealed the waitress was Ayra.

But they made her stand out so much that you knew it was her after it was revealed. I remembered thinking "wow a black girl!" and then surprise. It was a white girl doing black face.
