Starting now! Will update this post as I watch.

It appears that Crckrjack is right, and the Ayra stuff shown last week can be taken at face value. No crazy theories so far. However, she is making a very easy recovery after being stabbed in the gut. Thank goodness this actress is so capable and has a "magic" drink.

Oh my. The Hound in full beast mode.

Do we have any idea where Varys is going? He just said it's a secret. Also, werent all the boats burnt?

Oh my. We finally got to see The Mountain do some damange too.

Good stuff with Brienne and Pod making it to Riverrun. They want different things but they still care about each other!

Are we suppose to feel bad for Cersei? She is a horrible person, but she has really gotten crapped on for the last season or so. I had a feeling the Sparrows would get rid of trial by combat, that clearly seems against their beliefs.
What is her rumor?!

Missandei and Greyworm are finally warming up to Tyrion, or they are getting tired of his antics and giving in is easier.

Last episode the guys inside of Riverrun were willing to let their lord get hung, but now they are obeying his every order. Why didn't they try harder to save him last week? I guess he didn't order them to do so? I admit I kind of spaced off during the Lord (sorry, forget his name) and his talk with Jamie. What did Jamie say to him that made him hand over the Blackfish?

It sure would be nice if Danny showed up riding a dragon just as her city was being attacked by sea.

Arya becoming blind had a great payoff. That was very cool when Arya cut off the candle.

Last week he was caged and he didn't want to give up the castle.... Until one arm threatened to kill his whole family and everyone there

Not disappointed. But when I saw boats, I was like YESSSSS BATTLE. Next episode I guess.

With the Ayra stuff? Yes.

What else didn't you like? You didn't like the cute awkward wave that Jamie gave Brienne? They may never see each other again!

It was really dumb we didn't see Danny ride in on Drogo and wreck the ships. They are still being attacked as they just stand around and talk while Drogo flies away. Maybe next week we will see them battling?

Episodes always seem a little off for me when John isn't in them. King's Landing stuff needs to wrap up soon too.

It shouldn't even be a battle. It should be Drogo swooping in and making very quick work of the boats. They can't do anything to stop him from destroying all of them in minutes.

This makes me think of something else: what's up with the other 2 dragons? Tyrion went in and took off their chains early in the season, but are they still just chillin' in the basement?

Just got done watching. My thoughts:

The size of the knife that Arya was stabbed with (twice) should have done more internal damage than what an actress's wound cleaning skills can fix. Kinda disappointed that none of the crazy theories ended up being true.

The Mountain destroyed that dude, I was hoping he would take out more of the sparrows.

It's really cute how Bronn was fucking with Pod for the little bit that they got to see each other.

Are the Riverrun troops going to be allowed to help Sansa and Jon?

The Hound is badass, I'm glad he's back.

Oh shit! Beric Dondarion is back. Does this mean that Lady Stoneheart doesn't show up in the show?

Dani should really use Drogon, like, now. And to my previous post, maybe consider using the other TWO FUCKING DRAGONS THAT YOU HAVE ACCESS TO.

I'm glad Jaqen was just like "It's cool" when Arya told him she was leaving.

Just an FYI, your post contains spoilers for non book readers, since once of the characters hasn't been introduced yet in the show. However, I bet she'll make her appearance in episode 10. Especially since Beric is back.

Yeah I suppose, but they won't know who she is unless they look it up.

Good point on the dragons. No idea if they are down there or out in the wild.

I don't like the Jaqen bit. It shouldn't be that easy to leave the faceless men, and he seems pleased about it?

And yes, Ayra should be dead! She would have died from blood loss or internal bleeding. That was a major injury. People did not survive minor injuries back then and we are seeing characters quickly recover from all sorts of fatal blows. The Hound should also be dead, but I'll let that one slide. Ayra though, no way her wound was even sealed before she starting her chase through the city. Complete BS unless the actress used magic and that's stupid too!

It seemed like Jaqen is both proud and disappointed of Arya.

Oh man how is Clegane Bowl going to happen now that Trial by Combat is banished.

I was also disappointed by the lack of dragons burninating the countryside.

Did Pod look like he went through a growth spurt since the last time we saw him or was I just oblivious?

Haha. Congratulations on accurately seeing something on screen and agreeing with it at face value. Sorry we wanted there to be more to that plot so it wasn't as dumb!

Kathryn wants there to be more to Arya leaving the faceless men... I think something will eventually happen there, but I am not holding out for it.

I hope jacquen is in the show more, he is a good actor.
