Yes it did.

They took the entirety (or near all) of the fleet. Theon's sister said that she wants to reach Danny and do the same as her uncle wanted to do.
Also the Uncle tells everyone after he drowns to start building ships.

Sansa and Jon have already met up, Rickon will be in Winterfell if Jon and Sansa are victorious, and now Arya is on her way to home.

I am still holding out for this to happen as some sort of ultra fan service.

Sure, they needed to get her back to Westeros, but they could have done it so much better. This was a horrible plot. I am sure Jaqen will show up again, but in the mean time all of this fell flat. SHE WAS STABBED IN THE INTESTINE AND LIVED!
purple_hayes wrote:Source of the postIts show business... not physically accurate. FYI, you can be stabbed in the gut and live. Being stabbed in the liver, which I believe she was stabbed in, is not a death blow. I do agree the whole storyline was wasted. You had such an opportunity to do something with Arya's character along with Jaqen, who is a fascinating character in himself, but you drop the ball to fall flat. Was so ready for this storyline to be over by ep 02 this season. Was like, just kill Arya off... gaawd. This experience has seemed to make her realize her true potential. That she is a much stronger person than she would allow herself to be.

purple_hayes wrote:Source of the post So, let me get this straight... a TV show that has giants, shadow monsters, dragons, fire magic, people coming back from the dead, an undead body guard, an undead army not to mention the gigantic ice wall to stop the army... you have trouble believing someone could survive a stabbing to the gut. Google it, you can survive. Stopping the bleeding is your main priority in surviving. But even in the show... we have seen people survive worse... a hand getting cut off is pretty big wound.
