Too be fair, I said Arya would kill the Waif back in episode six. I also said everything should be taken at face value in episode VII: the hound awakens followed by my time travel theory.

I'm also holding out for Jaqen to pull off his final face revealing he was, in fact, Gene Parmesan the whole time. I'll accept Nic Cage playing John Travolta as a second though.

This is the best joke I've heard in this forum EVER. :text-datsphatyo:

My guess is Varys is heading to see Yara and Theon Greyjoy because they have a ton of ships.

But aren't they heading to them anyways?

Just more stuff to crap on Ayra about...
She survived the Waif's attack last week and chances are the Waif thought she was dead when she fell in the water and didn't immediately surface.
What was Ayra's plan after that? To return to the target that she failed to kill and got her in this trouble in the first place. Ayra had to have known that since she failed to kill Lady Crane someone else would have to finish the job, so why go hide somewhere you know the faceless men will be returning to? Plus she took medicine that put her into a coma and she had no idea of knowing how long it would last.

All dumb! I think getting Ayra back to Westros is important, but the conclusion with all the faceless men stuff kind of makes the last season or so pointless for her story.

This story was so good too and could have gotten REALLY interesting. Imagine if she somehow was sent to assassinate Jon or Sansa or some other family member.

Could have gotten crazy, but instead just gets ditched.

Could still be interesting, but very disappointed.

That was a popular theory on my podcast. She works for the god of death and Jon came back from the dead so it would make sense the faceless men would go after him.

I was under the impression that the faceless men don't go after people, they are hired assassins.

The faceless god was promised a name, and it shall have a name, which the waif took. The rest was just revenge I think. It's like being a pornstar. Sure, your job is to do it, but that doesn't mean you can't partake outside work.

If that was the case, wouldn't there be some attempts on Beric Dondarrion since he's been brought back to life for years now...

No one has brought up this conversation. What could they be talking about?
Cersei - “Is it just a rumor or something more?”
Qyburn - “Much more.”

Cersei knew about wildfire in season two. Tyrion told the Maester to stop making it for her and to make it for him instead. They used it in the battle of Blackwater to burn Stannis' ships to the grou... water.

Are you agreeing or disagreeing that is what Cersie and Qyburn could have been talking about that this week, or are you just stating a fact?

I don't remember if this happened in the show, but in the book they actually find a huge cache of wildfire and use that for the battle of the Blackwater. Did that happen in the show already?
