In a recent interview with George RR Martin he dropped this huge bombshell!
Q: And Jon Snow, too, is drained by the experience of coming back from the dead on the show.
A: Right. And poor Beric Dondarrion, who was set up as the foreshadowing of all this, every time he’s a little less Beric. His memories are fading, he’s got all these scars, he’s becoming more and more physically hideous, because he’s not a living human being anymore. His heart isn’t beating, his blood isn’t flowing in his veins, he’s a wight, but a wight animated by fire instead of by ice, now we’re getting back to the whole fire and ice thing.
Personally, I can't believe I missed this implication. If the Great Other can raise the dead with ice power it just makes sense that R'hllor could with fire power. Jon (and Beric and possible others) is a wight walker for the Lord of Light.
I think this also could lead to huge twists in the story. I've always thought of Jon as honoring the ice in the Song of Fire and Ice, but what if he is just fire-or both. We know now that he is both Stark and Targaryen, but what does his relationship with the Lord of Light mean for the outcome of Westeros?
Also, could this mean that we will see Jon die and come back to life more than once? Could this mean others could come back to life-like literally anyone (Think Return of the King when all the kings of old came back to help fight) or maybe even resurrected dragons??!!

George needs to shut up and keep writing his books.
This would be cool. Get a giant Balerion zombie dragon flying around.

Beric is the guy with the eye patch that hangs out with the guy with the top bun-he was in last nights episode and the only other character we know of who has been brought back to life by the lord of light (R'hllor)

So I just heard about another weird theory similar to this. Bran Stark is the Night King.

I don't know if I buy it, but we likely wouldn't find out until next season if it does turn out to be true.

I don't know their main point is the scene when the first white walker (the night king) was created. Of course Bran recognizes Leaf because he just watched her stab. her response, "From you" isn't directed at Bran himself but humans as a whole.
Sure it's an interesting theory, but I think people are stretching

I agree. Would be a huge twist though. Unfortunately I don't care enough about Bran so I wouldn't really be sad if it came down to Jon having to kill him.

Bran's arc is interesting, but there is so much time between his POV that I lose interest. If someone were to edit his plot line together, then it would provoke feeling.

Yep, that's the problem. We only seem him once every few episodes and each time he shows up he ages another 3 years since the last time we saw him.
