Has anyone watched this yet? This is a mature Adventure Time from the creator Pendleton Ward. This will be my new Chris show, but was curious if anyone else has tried it out yet

I watched the series already. I wouldn't necessary call it a mature Adventure Time. More like a podcast with an animated background.

Is it improv then animated or fully scripted?

I honestly don't know.

wikipedia said this:

Each episode revolves around Clancy's travels through planets within the simulator, with the beings inhabiting these worlds as the guests he interviews for his spacecast.[3][4][5] These interviews are based on the real interviews derived from Trussell's podcast, The Duncan Trussell Family Hour

Not at all what I thought this was then, I didn't watch the trailer.

the interviews are still pretty interesting. There is still silly background stuff and a light over-arcing plot and continuity. If the first episode doesn't pique your interest, then the series probably won't.

I actually like the conversations. I haven't been watching the show, but listening while doing something

I'm finishing this now. The last episode is really sad, but I think my favorite was episode 7 where it talks about creating death as a business in the USA.

Here is the website for the actual podcasts these are based on. Has over 390 episodes and people including Dan Harmon, http://www.duncantrussell.com/midnightgospel

The last episode, he interviews his mom whose dying of Breast Cancer. Surprising how open these two communicate with each other.
