Modern Family

Who is your favorite character of Modern Family?

I think Phil is my favorite. Everyone wishes they had a dad like Phil growing up.

Phil almost always stands out as the most hilarious although I really love Jay. I love the fact that at his age he has to go through fatherhood again with a child that isn't really his. It adds a lot of depth to the character.

I do love Jays hard exterior, but in the end he always does the right thing even though it often goes unnoticed.

I think I laugh mainly at Phil or Luke parts...and the most when they are together!

Poor Clare. I wanted her to win the election, even though I knew she wouldn't

s03e20 The Last Walt

Postby Tyler » Thu Apr 19, 2012 8:53 am

Not the funniest episode, but it still had some real emotion.

First off, Phil is such a great dad, he is an equal to Alan Bean (the Apollo 17th astronaut).

Was nice to see both the dad's get along for Cam and Mitch.

I knew she wouldn't either, and I'm kind of glad she didn't. She needs to keep being the stay-at-home mom so she can meddle in everyone's business lol

The initials on the moon for Alex was too adorable for words.

Finally got around to watching it. I liked this one.

Love how excited Gloria was in the end to be displayed as the trophy wife.

Side note: The actor who plays Phil won Best Male Actor in a TV Series on Sunday's Comedy Awards.
Gloria was nominated for female, but lost.

Do people really watch the Comedy Awards?

it was the second annual! Almost all the jokes made were about how unimportant the show is and that no one watches. I only DVRd it because I was bored.

s03e22 Disneyland

Postby Tyler » Sat May 12, 2012 11:50 am

Summary: Nothing is more quintessential to good ol' family fun than a trip to Disneyland -- but not without a side of motion sickness, achy feet and a wayward toddler -- when the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan hits the park! Phil tries to keep up with Luke; Clair is shocked when they run into Dylan; Jay and Gloria get into an argument over a pair of shoes; Mitch and Cam must contain Lily's new affinity for running.

Werd on the street that the boy in this one is the real life boyfriend of the actress that plays Haley.

And uh oh, Dylan's back!
