Re: Shark Tank
Dang, Mark bought out a company after they crapped all over the idea.

Which one is that?
I love seeing Mark Cuban always promoting CyberDust on Twitter...like a Snapchat version of Twitter basically. Do you remember what season he invested in that?
Re: Shark Tank
Not sure if tonight's was new but they had a lot of interesting products. Wedding cake idea where they rent out fake cakes was a pretty good idea from what I know about cake pricing and hassles. I don't see the box company that makes boxes into fun airplanes and fire trucks doing well at all, especially with Kevin as the investor.

That's an older one.
I don't remember Cyber Dust at all...*googling now* Ah, I remember this I think.
The one that Mark bought one was 2 ladies who sold reusable sticker ties/bow ties for shirts. Mark bought them just to use at his stadium
Re: Shark Tank
My mom watched this with us on Friday. Will not be surprised when I go home and she has a Phonesoap.
Also saw that there is another new episode this Tuesday.

Re: Shark Tank
saw the one about the fold up light that looks like a book. very cool idea. He already had a good business coming in, and I wasn't surprised that all the sharks were fighting for him.
Re: Shark Tank
That light was cool, but not worth the money. It was more artsy than practical I thought.

"Colored"? What is this, the 50's!?!
Re: Shark Tank
Cubes is easily the best shark, I dont like barbara. Mr. Wonderful adds the negative that the show needs. I feel bad for Robert, he seems like the "always wants to be liked" guy and people rarely choose him with multiple offers on the board.

Re: Shark Tank
Pretty solid episode, all really good ideas considering they were developed by young entrepreneurs in college. Even he backpacks had a great idea behind them to help.
Never thought of it before tonight but can't another investor walk up to these aspiring companies the minute they walk out the door and offer a similar deal? The Sharks have a lot of resources but they're not running the world. We hear about the Shark Tank effect but I wonder how much that happens. Do they make them sign anything when they are offered to to do the show?

Re: Shark Tank
That's a good point. It's just a verbal agreement and wonder how fast the contract gets drafted up.
Re: Shark Tank

Mark/Robert could have helped that guy a lot more, they understand technology and could have improved on the app. I was on their side, but they gave the kid exactly what he wanted so can't be upset at him saying yes so early on.

ya too bad he couldn't get with Mark or Robert..i agree with you how they would be better for him.. it is awesome they showed that fight yet afterwards
Re: Shark Tank
i didnt mean to come off as upset/thinking he did wrong.
I just felt bad, go back and watch his face and how much he wishes he could hear from the others. I hated how pushy she was and didn't let him hear other offers even after he asked twice.
I liked that guy a lot.

Just watching last week's. Thought the light bulb fingers were dumb and guy was insane for asking for $650,000 for 5% and then they offered him 1 million for the 5% and he declined it
