Sherlock

Postby Tyler » Mon Dec 09, 2013 5:54 pm

I know a lot of people love this show. Hopefully going to start watching it soon. Each episode is 1.5-2 hours long? Can watch one a night when we have time. There are only two "series" out correct, with the 3rd series trailer just released?

Well, I'm hooked. Watched 101 tonight and I loved it. Does every episode have the text overlay when Sherlock is figuring out a crime scene? That was probably my favorite part, that and when Sherlock explained how Watson how he instantly was able to read and analyze everything about him pretty much all from a handmedown phone.

I've seen every episode of Elementary and have grown use to that take on the modern Sherlock. So far Cumberbatch seems a little more "likable" since he makes small cracks and giggles.

Finished the first "series" tonight. Didn't see the gay IT guy being M., but that was obviously the point. Pretty big cliff hanger, glad I don't need to wait a year to see what happens. I'm guessing Sherlock, Watson, and M all survive tho!

Series as a whole is pretty excellent. Very fun stories and mysteries.

Make sure you watch the "previously on..." On the next episode because they explain the cliffhanger. Netflix will automatically skip it if you aren't careful.

And is just rewatched them all the last few days. Very excited for series 3 in a few weeks.

I'll have to make sure I am caught up by then. Do they release the 3 episodes in 3 weeks or more spacing in between them?

I'm not sure. I imagine fairly quickly considering two of them have already aired in the UK.

Ah. I didn't know that. So I could probably watch them on BBC America now? Or do they wait to air them and Netlfix at the same time? Anyways, it doesn't matter yet, still have 3 more to watch

BBC America is airing them in a few weeks. Not sure when they will be on Netflix.

So actually they are airing on PBS. the first one was on Sunday and it is now On Demand. I watched it last night. It's pretty good. Watson's reaction to Sherlock returning is very well done. Sherlock is a tremendous ass for the entire episode though.

Episode 2 just aired. Overall a very good episode. Possibly the best one yet. Although I can't help but doubt the way that the murder took place.

Episode 3 was interesting. Not as fun as Episode 2 and the cliffhanger isn't as big but still a good episode.

Holy. Poop. I know there is a series 3 of this show so Sherlock had to be alive somehow. Is Moriarty really dead tho? That would be just as crazy.

Watch the damn third series and be grateful you didn't have to wait two years like the rest of the world.
