I love that they have full fledged sites for all of these. Each site is worth a visit and reading to the bottom.

We were so happy that they solved their problems in the episode and that Richard was made CEO. I love the show, but it gets hard watching them get beat up all the time.

Jared is the saddest character ever. Doesn't even know his own birthday.

Tyler, thanks for posting all of those websites. I love on the Pied Piper website that there is a small picture of erlich bachman on the bottom that just reads: Board Member.

It's hilarious how they keep the sites updated. Last week it had all the sales people, like Jan "The Man" and now they are replaced by their offshore engineers.

I love that Jared is somehow so smooth with the ladies. I also need to check the code rag website later and see if they list new owners

Two Russ callbacks from last season. That line and Bauchman was mixing in the Triple Comma tequila at the restaurant when they ordered a virgin margarita

Jinx. You owe each other a friendship.

Glad to see Hooli getting their hands on the beta only helped the Pied Piper team. I have a feeling Monica's criticism is going to be accurate. It was probably all technical people raving about the beta and average users will be confused.

Bauchman selling his shares the day the program goes live, brutal. I'm guessing he gave up his board seat. I hope not having Bauchman voting on things doesn't burn them

That was a very weird episode. Maybe the fact that they weren't getting shit on was strange.

I think Monica will be right. I think it will go right back to shit for them next week.

I think they are only not getting shit on, so they can shit on erlich. He will regret selling his shares, then he will buy them back, and then the company will plummet again.

I seriously love how they update the websites.

http://www.piedpiper.com/
Scroll towards the bottom.
"Pied Piper's easy-to-use tools make even the most complex compression tasks intuitive!" next to a very complicated screen shot.

Also at the bottom of the site:
The old Pied Piper “flute player” logo was referencing the fairy-tale character and in no way was meant to suggest a sexual act involving either the mouth or ear of the figure depicted. Apologies to any who were offended, and the logo has been changed to our current green “PP”!

Hooli Campus Has Minor Outage, Blames “Routine Maintenance”

How high can Hooli’s standards be if an entire building needs to be powered down to do routine maintenance? The fact that their website is also down, although allegedly unrelated, paints a picture of a company that can’t take care of its own systems properly. One would think a company as innovative as Hooli would have a more advanced system in place. What happens if they need to power cycle the building that holds HooliPhone data? Email servers? Could we lose access to the entire cloud at Hooli’s discretion? Let’s hope Hooli doesn’t need to do any “routine maintenance” on our personal data any time soon.

Website is down because of power outages

Characters in the show and who they could be based off of
https://backchannel.com/who-are-the-rea ... .9i4tzqmeg

Here is how fictional character Russ Hanneman described making his billion on the show:
I remember the second I became a billionaire. I was ass-naked, sitting right there, just clicking and refreshing, clicking and refreshing, watching the stock rise. And when it happened, I popped a rod so fast I went blind for a full minute, nutted all over those cushions.

And here is how real person Mark Cuban described becoming a billionaire on a podcast:
Literally, I was sitting in front of a computer, naked, hitting the refresh because we were close — waiting until my net worth hit that billion when the stock price got to a certain point, and then I kinda screamed and jumped around and then got dressed.

Haha, that quote is 100% making fun of Mark Cuban.

I don't have any idea who most of these real life people are.

Just as bmyoungs and I predicted, the beta went so well because it was technical people reviewing it. You could tell from the screenshot that no average end user would be able to make sense of the platform.

Dang it Jarred paying for those clicks! That's not helping anything!
