Yes yes yes! Can't wait. The love the idea of the special too. Curious if any of the stores are still using even 5% of the advice given by him

I have no idea if this is a true story or not, but it was entertaining. Can't wait to watch the special that airs tonight, but probably won't have time until this weekend.

We watched half of the special tonight. Nathan is at an all time awkwardness. It is painful to watch, I love it. Why would this host agree to come on the show again? Is he in on the joke this time? Same with the beer kid. That was horrible. He has to have seen the show and realized what he was getting himself into.

It's so awkward, especially the free beer scene.

So many levels to this! Let's see if I tracked them all.

Failing restaurant wants to be relevant in the news. Nathan's idea is to hire a celebrity lookalike to leave a $10k tip
1) Find a celebrity impersonator that the restaurant guy likes
2) Find a real person with the same name of the real celebrity that is being impersonator and convince them to allow a $10k charge to their CC so the correct name shows up on the bill
3) Fail at finding someone to allow this, offer to pay someone to change their name to the celebrity
4) Find a person who will do it for $1,001, but learn that a name change must be published in a news paper for 4 weeks
5) Create an entirely new newspaper, with complete articles, for 4 weeks so no one sees the name change in the real paper
6) Guy changes his name and opens a new bank account with the name of the celebrity
7) Learn the guy has a criminal past where he robbed money. Do not trust him with $10k cash that he has to deposit
8) Nathan handcuffs himself to the guy while he deposits the $10k so he doesnt run off with it
9) Nathan then handcuffs them together at a hotel with joined rooms and using a 40 foot handcuff chain
10) Sneak out of the hotel so he can coordinate the tip
11) Celebrity impersonator buys a meal and leaves the $10k tip. Using a special pad to forge the signature of the celebrity
12) Oh, they also rehearsed all of this with the restaurant staff
13) Staff over reacts to the $10k tip.
14) Local news runs the story
15) profit.

Lol, I've been watching a few old episodes of this and the way it all gets so convoluted is hilarious and usually awkward. I need to watch this more regularly.

Corey, bmyoungs, Kyle have never watched! Corey didn't even know what it was about. I told them both to watch at least one.

I watched a couple last night. I lolzed a lot in the first one when he was doing job interviews with a kid telling him what to say.

Woo!! We converted another watcher. The format of the show slowly changes. I think s01 is 2 main segments and a little middle one? Later it goes to 2 segments and sometimes the full episode to dedicated to one elaborate thing.

Oh my gosh. The story "actually" happened, but he orchristrated every piece of it. Nathan desperately wanted a funny story to tell on TV that he spent $350k to make it happen.
