INCORRECT. His name is Earnest, and they call him Earn. Darius is Paperboi's buddy who hides a gun in a cereal box and may have lost a few bullets in the cereal.

Also I just started watching this last night. It's pretty good. I find it more like a silly plot line with completely serious overtones. The juxtaposition between those two make for a pretty great show.

Pfft, you had 7 weeks to call me out on that.

This last weeks episode was so weird. They go to a house party with a married couple, and the husband is white. Like REALLY white. But his 'hobby' is black cultural, so he talks about Malcolm X and paints pictures of men fighting giant eagles to symbolize his struggle? Slam poetry. It's so ridiculous lol

I just finished episode 4, and I think Darius is my favorite character. What a good dude.

I caught up on this show this weekend so now I'm up to date. I don't know what it is but I really like it. It's not laugh out loud funny by any means, but it has enough funny moments to break the tension of the real-life feel of the show.

Also, the episode when Paper Boy is on Montague kept faking me out with fake commercials so I might have missed some of it when fast forwarding on the DVR.

That whole episode was hilarious. He's a 34 year old white man stuck in a 15 year old black kid's body.

Jocelyn and I watched the first 2 over a year ago, for whatever reason it kind of fell off our queue. I watched 3 and 4 today and I'm really enjoying the show. Things got pretty dark when the drug deal in the woods started with a random guy getting killed.

Why isnt Paper Boi helping out Earn more? He can't afford anything ever. I wonder if the internet troll ever comes back.

Next episode is Biebs.

cwilkins88 wrote:Source of the post This might be the greatest episode. It's taken from the style of a late night psychological talk show between a behavioralist and paperboi. Talking about trans sexual and trans racial people. Goes into a segment about a 35 yr old black person who identifies as a white guy named Harrison. Hilarious

Watched this tonight. Such a weird and funny episode. Ending was great when Harrison was against everything they thought he would be for.

Darius is probably my favorite too. He's so chill about everything.

Atlanta vs Master of None. What do you like more? I feel like they are comparable in a non-related way.

If enough people are discussing this current season (other than Wilkins and me) I might create a subforum for it.

s02e01
Will that robbery scene eventually tie into the plot of the main 3 guys or just showing how tough Atlanta is? That was brutal when the innocent girl in the back seat got shot...right? I assumed she was shot but I really couldn't tell.

Kat Williams out of no where. He runs so fast at the end!

Darius is the best part of this show. His Florida Man story was great, all the crazy stuff always happens in Florida.
“Be careful... it’s very very cold.”
"I would say nice to meet you, but I don't believe in time as a concept, so I'll just say we've always met."

I liked Al and Darius being pissed at each other and by the end of the episode they are fine. We don't know what happened or what fixed it, but it doesn't matter, that's just typical roommate drama.

Darius is my favorite. He's such a burnout but I don't care. A lot of what he says is uniquely profound, even if he is largely full of shit a lot of the time.

"what flavor is a flaming hot cheetoh?"
"hot"
"I do taste hot"
