Finally got a chance to watch season premiere. Opening scene was pretty intense and brutal.

Actor who plays Darius is the guy from Get Out that yells at the lead to Get Out. He had a little joke in the Oscars last night where he was yelling that on screen.

s02e02

No chase policy was one of the best bits from the series. Openly talking about stealing the shoes knowing no one is going to do anything about it.

Tracy (?) talking about Bojack in the mall was hilarious. I had to rewind when he said something about a horse, but it is for sure what he was talking about.

For being smart, Earn sure is dumb. It was cool that the dog breeding from last season was brought up again, but what was he thinking giving basically a stranger $4k? He should have tested the waters first with a couple hundred. I didn't entirely understand how Tracy was able to double cash onto gift cards either.

The stuff with Earn and Al at the largely white social media place was so hilariously awkward. I guess the guy rapping on the table and Paper Boi wrapping in an office are both based on kind of real events with videos out there about them.

S02E03 - “Money Bag Shawty”
No surprise here, yet another great episode of this show that I was a week late in watching.

It was painful to watch Earn get discriminated and screwed over multiple times. He just wanted to take his baby mama/girlfriend? out for a nice night after getting paid but it was impossible. I'm glad the cop at least was on his side at the hookah joint, but it didn't matter in the end. 20% charge at the club for changing out $100, ouch! And then getting singled out by the DJ. Plus paying for the VIP section and $200 bottle of booze. Earn spent over a grand on a night that he didn't even enjoy.

"It's Micheal Vick" LOL. I thought for sure it was going to end on the freeze frame and give you a sliver of hope that Earn beat him. Kat Williams would have beat him in that episode he was running from the cops.

Clark County stuff in the studio was actually chilling. 'I would never lay my hands on you, but I don't have the only hands in the world". Poor sound engineer, I was hoping Al or Darius would say something and not leave the room. Funny that Clark County doesn't drink or smoke, but his freestyle immediately went to that kind of stuff. Al is 100% going to drop Earn as his manager after hearing Clark County's manager has connections and lands him bigger spots.

This was hilarious.

This show is so good. It has the perfect balance of being funny but also being very real.

This is also my prediction. Earn can never get ahead.

That's why I love it so much. I'm fortunate enough to not have ever been in a situation like this, but I totally understand many black Americans have. If you read the subreddit a lot or users share stories of similar things happening.

Lol, I watched it yesterday. Very creepy episode. I thought for sure Earn was going to be the one to get something stolen by the goofy demon thing.

Guys, I don't think those are real Oktoberfest traditions.

LOL IRL still at the thought of him cheating in the tennis ball game and everyone freaking out about how good he is.

I'm on V's side on this. Earn is not leaving a positive impact on her life or her daughter's. Time to cut that off.

Yeah I agree. It's so hard watching him ruin that relationship because it seemed like one of the only good things Earn had going for him. I'm always rooting for the guy but he just seems to never get ahead.

Barbershop was good. Such a weird episode, but it was a fun ride. Going to a construction site and stealing $26 worth of 2x4s, what's the point?

Teddy episode was by far the best of the year. I was on the edge of my seat and laughing out loud in the same episode

This episode was great. For being an episode that committed nothing to the season,I'm finding that their random episodes are more enjoyable than the ones that commit to the story

This episode was creepy and it was off-putting the entire time. I thought it was very well done.

Just watched barbershop episode. Very funny.

Starting last week's episode and it's super weird so far.
Is that Don Glover in white face as the creepy dude?

If I didn't know this going into the episode idk if I would have noticed. It sounded more like Donald than it looked. I think he also had a fake chin and for sure fake cheek bones. The makeup was so good.

I like that Darius is in this creepy episode and he was in Get Out.
