I agree that I don't like shows that don't have a consistent run of a season. At least this show it's easy to pick up. The ending has me excited for the next season!

You always have been very particular about your shoes.

The ending was funny, but I am so sick of Tandy as a character. Everything he does is annoying to me anymore
1) XXXX-er. "Xxxx-er, I hardly knew her, boom"
2) Incredibly long jokes like the songs he sings, or the jokes he tells, or like..anything
3) He's got the homer simpson and peter griffon disease, where he gets dumber every season. It's to the point where has zero common sense, and he's just there to pull from a joke machine.

I kind of agree. It would be nice to see him grow a bit more as a character but he just continues to be very unaware of other people's feelings/thoughts toward him and he can never read a situation. Although I still find myself laughing at the dumb jokes because I'm dumb.

I mean, he occasionally hits home with me. The dinosaur gag makes me laugh, and it shouldn't. Also, anytime he says oh farts, i laugh still.

I enjoy how he wants to play guitar but doesn't know how so he holds the guitar and just slaps it for the beat.

From Reddit: Have you ever been completely annoyed by a main character of a show, but continuing watching it because of the supporting cast?
One of the highest ones "It is purely intentional, but still, I can't recall a more irksome and entirely annoying character currently on TV than Will Forte's Phil from The Last Man on Earth."
We watched the finale over the weekend. I'm glad they were able to help Erika with her pregnancy and deliver the baby safely. A minute before the episode ended I said it's weird that they introduced Wigg's character and did nothing with her. *Boom* There she is.
I'm glad they thought of a reason for the group to leave the office. I would want to live there if I was them, but it didn't progress the story forward. I like seeing the group on the move and having to creative inventive ways to survive. The office building made everything too easy for them.

Watched s04 premier last night. I don't even think it was 3 seconds that he lasted, he didnt even finish 3 words.
Wiig's character is just the worst! How are they going to get the boat back?! Who is on the island?!

Still a few weeks behind on this one, but the episode we just watched was Gale and Erica getting married. We had to look up their ages.
Erica - 30
Gale - 64

I think we are 1 or 2 behind, but watched the Fred Armisen episode the other night. I thought it was way better than the stand-alone Wiig episode we got last year. It was honestly probably one of the darkest episodes of the show, while still being hilarious. I'm excited to see where the show takes his character.

Great end to his 3 episode arc. This show is the best when it blends serious drama in with the comedy. The idea that they befriended a cannibal that wants to not eat them, but knows he will try eating them is so absurd, but it worked. When he said they would have to kill him or he would keep coming back, wow, heavy stuff. The straw drawing stuff and Tandy cutting his shorter is probably one of the best scenes the show has ever done. This was immediately ruined though by Tandy being Tandy "you realize I cut mine shorter right? I had a longer one, everyone saw it. You don't need to thank me, they did enough already. I created quite the scene when I was looking for a scissors. I was crying a lot and saying I didn't want to do this"
The rubix cub stuff was just okay. It was the easy way to kill of Cannibal Carl without getting blood on anyone's hands. Would have been a bigger twist if he didn't solve it and Tandy actually had to shoot him.

Looking forward to the ol' have a baby with someone other than your wife plot
It was nice seeing Tandy as a real human for a bit, but we knew it couldn't last longer than half an episode.

I enjoyed that half of the episode more than any other I think. Him being a real person was nice.

That's extremely sad that Todd was depressed playing with that train for 7 months. Too bad Erika didn't decide to do that sooner.
It's all the fault of the character that plays Cheryl. She was pregnant in real life.
How is Melissa okay with this? Todd is going to be way closer to Erika now

So, when will they rename this show to 'The last pretty large community on earth'.
Also, it's refreshing to see Tandy act like a real person, makes me hate him less.
