Last Week Tonight with John Oliver
That was a great bit. Just as good as sending the model train to the news station. I hope Blockbuster can get a hold of the show.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver
The Blockbuster Video store in Alaska featured on Last Week Tonight w/ John Oliver is set to close.
The Anchorage location recently acquired some Russell Crowe memorabilia, including a jockstrap Crowe wore in the 2005 movie "Cinderella Man," gifted to the store by John Oliver's HBO show, "Last Week Tonight."
"The memorabilia is probably going to go back to the owner, which is fine, because I don't want a jockstrap in my house," Daymude said.
It's not clear yet what will happen to the memorabilia, Payne said. He added that his team had explained to people involved with Oliver's show that the stores would probably not be open much longer.
"We were very up front with them, and they said, 'That's OK, we want you to have it anyway,' " he said. "I'm not sure what we're going to do with it."

Twitter permanently bans Alex Jones and Infowars accounts
The ban appears to be related to a heated exchange between Jones and a CNN reporter Wednesday, which Jones live-streamed on the Twitter-owned video service Periscope.
Oliver Darcey put on an impressive, masterful display of how to not engage someone screaming in your face.
@5:49 "Can't talk right now... Alex Jones is making fun of my jeans"

I don't really know who that guy is, but he really handled that situation perfectly

This one had me in stitches

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver
It's a good topic. It's something to fear but also embrace. Manual labor jobs are for sure in the most danger. We should all be safe in IT at least until retirement. I'm working on a system from the 80's that can't be converted because it doesn't make sense financially, I don't need to worry about automation haha

Lol, that's pretty good. I have gotten a ton more robocalls the last probably 6 months or so. They usually talk about extending my vehicle's warranty. Once was about the IRS suing me. Another was actually a real person with a thick accent calling telling me that I won the publisher's clearing house.

WWE Hits Back Against John Oliver's 'Last Week Tonight' Wrestling Takedown
"While the character Vince is an asshole, it's important to know that the real Vince is also an asshole," Oliver said, noting the segment was being done now because WrestleMania is next week. "Many fans legitimately hate him because while the WWE has made him a billionaire, many wrestlers say he's treated them terribly."
On Monday, WWE responded.
"John Oliver is clearly a clever and humorous entertainer, however, the subject matter covered in his WWE segment is no laughing matter," the organization said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "Prior to airing, WWE responded to his producers refuting every point in his one-sided presentation. John Oliver simply ignored the facts. The health and wellness of our performers is the single most important aspect of our business, and we have a comprehensive, longstanding Talent Wellness program. We invite John Oliver to attend WrestleMania this Sunday to learn more about our company."

An Amazon executive snapped back at John Oliver after his stinging attack on the firm's 'brutal' working conditions
said Oliver and his producers had declined an invitation to take a tour of a warehouse.
Oliver said they declined it because of course Amazon was going to stage everything perfectly for the HBO team. Oliver wanted to rely on the first hand experience of employees
