It's okay for a 12 year old. It's dark, but it's very light with how it's presented

Binged the whole season today since Marshall was sick. It was very well done and a great adaptation of the books. Breaking each book up into two episodes was perfect. The narration was great also. I don't remember enough about the books to really compare but this seemed like the best way to keep the does both light enough to enjoy and still follow the entire story.

Can't wait for more

Brad with the dedication! Something worth checking out if you didn't read (or can't remember) any of the books?

Oh yeah I only vaguely remember the first book and the are 13 of them.

Every time I knew the twist I had to remind myself it's a children's book

I think they are filming these all at the same time in attempts for the kids not to age out of the roles.

How many books are there? Each book = 2 episodes / 10 episodes would give us the number of seasons we will end up with.

Number of books: 13

Are the seasons the typical Netflix length of 13 episodes? If so, we only need 2 seasons.

First season was 8 episodes and covered the first 4 books. So 3 seasons should finish it theoretically with one 10 episode season.

I like when shows tell you when the series is going to end. Gives me faith that they have a good ending in mind and the show won't over stay its welcome
