Firewatch (video game)

Postby Tyler » Tue Feb 09, 2016 10:43 pm

I have posted about this before, maybe 2 years ago, but the game is out today. I will post a trailer tomorrow. Indie game that people have been excited about.

Made by some of guys from TWD Telltale game. Story is a mystery.

I hadn't heard of this before, but I'm incredibly interested. I've heard it's occasionally "creepy," but not that many jump scares or anything, which is right up my alley. Additionally, I've seen that people are completing it within about 5-6 hours or so. Personally, I'll wait for a good sale and maybe pick it up for $5-$10, since I'm a cheap ass.

10% off right now. 5-6 hours is the perfect length for me. A 40 hour+ game is basically impossible for me now. I might actually get this and see if Jocelyn wants to play through it this weekend sometime.

EDIT: seems people hate the ending and gameplay is closer to 3-4 hours. I still might pull the trigger.

After reading those reviews, I'll try to pick it up for $5 or less, or if it's in a humble bundle. I'm still excited about the game, but I can't justify spending more than $5 for it, personally.
