I haven't watched this, but I've heard from both Star Trek and non-Star Trek fans that it is good. They also dropped Star Trek's first ever F bomb.

See! I watched the latest episode and it's holding strong. This is probably the most enjoyable show for me on TV right now (currently airing)

I keep thinking of the SyFy space show you loved and how I couldn't get into that. How are these 2 shows different?

Expanse is geopolitics with sparse action. Star Trek is more science and scifi with tons of klingon murdering.
