Tonight's episode is going to be wild. I'm really excited to see what they do with these election results.
Southpark
Do you think they fully produced 2 different episodes just in case?

I was kind of wondering that too. They had an election episode back when it was Obama vs McCain but they only really would have needed to change the very end when it shows the winner because the rest of the story wasn't reliant on who won.
Basically, this season they've made Mr. Garrison into Trump and show him being super offensive because he's actually trying to lose, but it just makes people support him more. It seemed like they were working the story toward him losing the election after all these conspiracy theories are solved, but I'm not sure where they'll take it now.

Ah, that would make sense if they just changed the last 5 minutes of an episode vs having it addressed right away

South Park was forced to re-write tonight’s episode after Trump’s win

That makes sense that they re-wrote the entire episode since it started with Douche/Trump winning. I haven't watched this show much before, but it did make the election season a bit more entertaining.

It had some funny parts but definitely didn't feel as smooth/fluid as normal. You could tell it had to be pieced together after a rewrite.

I'm happy about this. I wondered how much more they were going to do with the "Mr. Garrison as Trump" story because it kinda got old and I don't think they planned on it to happen in the first place.

'South Park' Scrubbed From Chinese Internet After Critical Episode ‘Band In China’
‘South Park’ creators shade China in faux apology for banned episode
“Like the NBA, we welcome Chinese censors into our homes and into our hearts,” Trey Parker and Matt Stone quipped Monday on social media. “We too love money more than freedom and democracy. Xi doesn’t look just like Winnie the Pooh at all. Tune into our 300th episode this Wednesday. Long live the Great Communist Party of China! May this autumn’s sorghum harvest be bountiful.”
The animated series’ creators ended by asking: “We good now China?”

'South Park' Episode Mocks LeBron James Over China Comments
In Wednesday's episode “Let Them Eat Goo," the lunches at South Park Elementary School are switched with healthier options after some students complain.
Cartman, of course, becomes irate over the change and goes off when one of the students in favor of healthier lunches says they have the right to protest unhealthy options and have freedom of speech.
"Yes, we do have freedom of speech, but at times there are ramifications for the negative that can happen when you are not thinking about others and only thinking about yourself!" Cartman yells.
That is the exact quote James gave days ago when he was asked about Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey, who tweeted his support for protesters in Hong Kong which created a tidal wave of backlash with China.

Ah, that's clever. I didn't realize that James had said that exact line.
