We can only assume one of those specials was filmed in Des Moines when he was here last year/earlier in the year

Looks like Dave Chappelle’s comedy specials are hitting Netflix sooner than we think. Two specials from the comedian’s “personal vault” will premiere on the streaming giant March 21.

I watched the Texas one tonight. That one was filmed in 2015 and the other was 2016. It was pretty dang funny, I was laughing out loud a lot. It took me by surprise to see Chappelle so beefy. I always picture him super skinny.

I thought that too. He looked jacked.

I watched the Not texas one, and I laughed the whole time. It started slightly slow, but he gained momentum fast.

I thought the Texas one started strong, got weak in the middle, and finished strong again.

Agreed. The ending made me forget some of the slower parts.

Watched this one last night. It was very funny, but he seemed to have a lot of jokes at victims' expense.

He also didn't look as jacked because he was wearing a big jacket THAT HE WAS CONSTANTLY TOUCHING. It was so distracting. He kept flattening it out with his hand even though it was never bunching up.

He was probably just trying to stop all the swoles from escaping.
