Lazarus pit only heals, can't bring you back from the dead. N00b

Have you not read Batman: Under the Red Hood?! Jason Todd (the 2nd Robin) was killed by the Joker and was dead for years, then he was brought back to life with the Lazarus Pit to become the Red Hood.

Like we discussed, I think there are some inconsistencies, because in Son of Batman, Damian's mother was killed right next to the Lazarus Pit, and they told him specifically that it could only heal, not bring her back from the dead, and they pulled him away screaming when he tried.

The best answer in the use of the Lazarus Pits is this:
You will be insane when you are resurrected. Prepare for that contingency.
You will have superhuman strength for a time. Have stronger friends.
The more recent your death, the fewer issues you'll have upon resurrection.
Try to die with as few injuries to the brain as possible. More risks involved.
Make sure you are all there when you are put in the pit. No clues as to whether regeneration of missing limbs occurs.

The name "Lazarus Pit" would be very misleading if it couldn't bring anyone back from the dead.

Maybe it was because it was a brain injury then.

it's only a spoiler if you plan on reading the series. I do not.

Getting close to pulling the plug on this show. Will have to see how this week's episode plays out.

Oliver (Green Arrow) has had 8 years to perfect his craft. His sister got trained by a professional assassin and learned everything in 5 months.... his ex-girlfriend took some boxing classes for a few weeks and can now ride motorcycles and jump onto moving semis while taking on 5 guys at once? I'm not saying women can't be super heroes, I'm saying you need proper training and they received little to none

Season 1 of this show was great because it was believable. Now they just throw tons of stuff at you and ask that you don't question the plausibility of it.

Catching up on season 4. After the pit thing with Oliver's sister... Things get a lot less believable... But I'm addicted...

Arrow started off being based on reality and slowly added in fantastical elements. Flash just went for it from the beginning. I like how silly Flash can be, but it doesnt seen to fit with Arrow all the time.

I like flash because of the scientific take on everything. But I like how Arrow has a much darker tone.

Anyone still watching this? I just watched this week's episode and I'm so bored of this craziness. I miss the doom and gloom and ninjas of the first 1/2 seasons.

Show for sure peaked in season 2 I think. Ejhartman will eventually catch up to live TV and I will try to get my coworker on CPT that watches it, but he is about ready to give up on it too.
