The Mandalorian - Jon Favreau to Executive Produce and Write Live-Action Star Wars Series

That's a good way to put it. You can shuffle almost any episode after 3 and it would make sense.

I really like how someone online compared it to Xena or Hercules. It is exactly that with the story format.

Episode was out early this week, Wednesday I think, so people didn't stay home Friday to watch it instead of seeing the new Star Wars movie.

I don't care about this show at all. I finished it, but I won't be watching season 2.

Was in a Star Wars mood last night so I watched the finale episode of this after seeing the new movie.

Overall I really enjoyed the series. Episodes 7 and 8 were probably the best of the season since it actually progressed the story and had some stakes. They could have taken out episodes 5 and 6 and it would be even better (although we will almost certainly see Fennec Shand from episode 5 and the "crew" from episode 6 again). All I could think about during episode 6 was the heist episode of Rick and Morty which made me laugh but also made me hate the episode even more.

Also, I really enjoyed the Stormtrooper/Scout Trooper banter at the beginning of episode 8 as they were waiting outside the city. That was fun.

That was fun to humanize them. Same when they wanted to touch and look and The Child

Season 2 trailer out today

I know there was a lot of fluff and filler in season one, but I'm excited for season two. It's just a good, fun Star Wars show.

Apparently Gina Carano, the gal who plays Cara Dune, has some controversial twitter stuff and some people are calling for the role to be recast.

Read some of it. That's too bad. Just don't be dumb if you are a public figure and want to keep your job.
