Season 3 starts tonight for those that watch. I understand it that every season is like a mini-series and doesn't relate to the other season? Seasons may even share the same actors playing different roles?

Same here. I always thought it was too weird for me but I'm constantly surprised by the people who I hear like it

That was correct with seasons one and two. I assume three would be no different. I watched most of season two but stopped a few episodes short of the finale. I suppose I can give this one a shot. I'll have to set up the DVR when I get home today. I very seldom watch tv shows at their original airing time.

This one of the few shows I keep up with. I'm more caught up than the Walking Dead. I prefer this season over the previous season much more. It's no first season, but not as convoluted as the second. The story line seems to be a little more linear, but it still has plenty of "loose" characters that will need to be retied in eventually. With a mini series like this, you character development is everything; therefore you cannot have too many characters to develop.

First Season was good. Never finished seasons 2 or 3. Four was alright. They killed of the most interesting/creepiest character, the clown, too soon. Though Dandy was pretty interesting too. NPH's character could have been expanded more to make him stand out a little more.

Monster casting news: In a stunning coup, American Horror Story has signed Lady Gaga to star in the next edition of the FX anthology series.

EW can reveal the Grammy winner will be a series regular in the fifth edition of the popular thriller, which is expected to air this fall. This will mark Gaga’s first starring role in a major production as an actress.

Jessica Lange is officially leaving the "American Horror Story" franchise. The actress, who starred in all four seasons of Ryan Murphy's anthology horror series, previously said that the most recent season of "Freak Show" would be her last.

During Sunday's "AHS" panel at PaleyFest in Los Angeles, Lange confirmed the news. “Yes, I’m done," she said. "We’ve had a great run here. I absolutely love doing these four characters, and in all madness, I love the writers and Ryan and the insanity of shooting it.” Let that sad news sink in.
