Amazon is all in with this show. I haven't seen any show pushed so hard from them. I don't plan on checking it out unless I hear amazing things.

Haven't there been 3 or so different actors playing Jack Ryan? Hunt for Red October. I think Baldwin played him? It's a confusing franchise.

Corey, did you watch all of these while Megatron was having the time of her life in Vegas?

Ex marine, ex Wall Street, doctor (in what?), CIA analyst for 4 years, Jeopardy champ, computer programmer, soon to be field agent all before the age or 40.

New boss: what's a matter, you don't like flying?
Dick! Dude was just reading an article about a helicopter crash where 12 people died and Jack barely lived.

Update: doctor of Econ

Update 2: seems like a major plot hole that the lead terrorist would let Jack live. They were killing everyone else I'm the base.

Wasn't he holding a grenade with the pin taken out?

Yes, but once they were out of the room they close the door. They could have easily shot him once they were out and then just walked away before it exploded.

Ryan should have ran to the door and thrown the grenade down the hall at them.

The door was an extremely heavy door in a prison! Once the door closed, it was locked from the outside I assume (since it is a prison-like facility).

There was a giant gap under the door. Roll the grenade under it. Lol. Fine......I'm okay with the world's most dangerous terrorist deliberately letting the person live who is solely responsible for uncovering him in the first place.

The drone stuff in ep3 was especially interesting. That soldier is understandably bothered by all this. A pilot is so detached from their kills, but it's also so personal. Was very sad when he was watching the child of the man he killed earlier.

I'm confused by how drones work. You would think they are flying too fast to look onto something so zoomed in.

Episode 5
Jack has the IM with the main bad dude. Room full of high level officials and Jack is leading the show and typing whatever he wants because it is his idea? I know I'm being nitpicky, but I had issues with that.

You had issues with an online game chat? What about the guy surviving a drone strike from the previous episode with only scratches on his face?

Come in people, you aren't going to test the hostages for anything? Of course the hostage starts showing symptoms on live TV while with the president

Finished.

Overall the show was fine. Nothing to write home about, but it was entertaining for the most part. Dumb the drone guy stuff didn't tie back into it all.

I have issues with Jack solving all of this 100% by himself, but it is fiction after all.
-discovered the banking plan
-killed the brother
-saved the wife and kids
-figured out the hospital plan
-killed the leader and not once called for backup during the chase! I know phones don't work, but talkies?!
-saved the son

Surprised it wasn't Jack to kill the last terrorist

I liked Wendell Pierce since I watched him in The Wire last year (need to get back to that show).

Will I watch s02? Yeah.
