Anyone else watching this? I'm about done with the first season and overall pretty funny
The wealthy Rose family – video store magnate Johnny (Eugene Levy), his wife and former soap opera actress Moira (Catherine O'Hara), and their adult children David and Alexis (Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy, respectively) – lose their fortune after they are defrauded by their business manager. They are forced to rebuild their lives with their sole remaining asset: a small town named Schitt's Creek, which they had bought their son as a joke birthday gift years earlier.[7]
The Roses relocate to Schitt’s Creek, moving into two adjacent rooms in a run-down motel. As the family adjusts to their new lives, their well-to-do attitudes come into conflict with the more unsophisticated (but usually down-to-earth) residents of Schitt's Creek, including mayor Roland Schitt (Chris Elliott), his wife Jocelyn (Jennifer Robertson), and the motel's manager, Stevie (Emily Hampshire).[7]

The Unlikely Rise of 'Schitt’s Creek'
Instead of steadily shrinking over time, the Canadian-produced comedy from co-creators/stars Eugene and Dan Levy has actually gotten bigger with age. Since launching on cable’s Pop network in 2015, the show has seen its linear ratings more than double and its overall audience soar past 3 million viewers. Word of mouth around the series has also exploded, fueled by critical acclaim and a 2017 deal which put past seasons of the show on Netflix. But Schitt’s didn’t just happen overnight. It’s been a slow-rolling success, blowing up at a point in its run when most other shows would just be starting to wind down
Re: Schitt's Creek
We watched the first 2 episodes last night. It was funny. Nothing groundbreaking, but it was funny. I like most of the family so far. Mayor is annoying, but he's meant to be I guess
