Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness | Netflix

Binged this over the weekend. I don't even have words.

A rivalry between big cat eccentrics takes a dark turn when Joe Exotic, a controversial animal park boss, is caught in a murder-for-hire plot.

Brother in law was texting about this yesterday so we watched the first 2 episodes last night. I can't believe how crazy these big cat people are. Even the "good" ones have some serious flaws.

We also watched the first 2 episodes last night. These people are nuts. I had missed the very beginning so I didn't know Joe was in jail for hiring a hitman and thought I was supposed to be rooting for him throughout the whole episode. But everything the reveal is more and more strange...they're all unlikable, but fascinating.

I wish there was someone to like. Maybe some of the staff, like the one who lost her arm or the girl from Ames...but they are also crazy for going along with these people.

Yeah, seems like maybe one of the other ancillary big-cat people that sometimes get interviewed is a little more normal? I can't remember his name now.

We watched episodes 3 and 4 last night. Everything is just absurd.

We watched 3. Did she really kill her husband and feed him to the cats?!

THe story how they met is so weird... Hey, I am twice your age. Get in this car with me, a completely stranger, and hold a gun on me while I talk to you.

We are also through episode 5 so far. I was wondering why Travis was almost never shown but the other husband was shown all the time.

Finished it last night. Hard to know what to believe in the end if Joe actually paid to have her killed or not. Alan is for sure a scumbag and should be locked up if Joe is. Jeff will be following him to prison too it sounds like.

I found some of the timeline stuff a little confusing. They were editing it to keep the mystery going, but it seems like so much of this was happening at the same time. Like the strip club guy being an informant, that happened prior to the political stuff or during, but it kind of seemed like that didn't happen until the end because of the story telling. There were other examples of this as well around the hit planning.

One of the most disgusting things in the show. Jeff saying his wife needs to hit the gym as soon as she has the baby and bragging about his hot nanny that he is going to fug.

Also, I agree, the way they edited things made it hard to understand the timeline of everything.

I gave into the hype. Episode two, I feel like I've driven passed that lady's house in Ames. Whether she lives there still or not I don't know.

If people werent stuck inside for 4 weeks I wonder how this would have been? It seems to be bigger than Making A Murderer now. Everyone on my work calls has been talking about it.
