Search Party - TBS/HBO Max

Wilkins recommended this. 3 seasons are out. It started on TBS and moved to HBO Max. We have seen 3 and the mystery is hooking us.
The lead is the sister from Arrested Development.

Search Party is a single-camera dark comedy about four self-absorbed twenty-somethings who become entangled in an ominous mystery when a former college acquaintance suddenly disappears.

I finished the whole show.... Season 1, you watch and are like how tf can this last three seasons, and then you go oh...yeah right, okay.

Honestly, I just watch it for the dumb friends. I laugh every time i hear a high pitched 'PORTIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

We watched 104 last night and I said the exact same thing. I was thinking it would be a different mystery for s02 but maybe not.

started s03. Jocelyn noted how different the tone was, so she did some research and found each season has a theme
s01 - classic detective. Nancy Drew
s02 - psychological thriller elements, as underlined by the Alfred Hitchcock-inspired promotional art
s03 - "courtroom drama" narrative, influenced by the works of John Grisham.

First 3 episodes are out on HBO Max.

Three episodes will bow on the 14th, with three more premiering on January 21 and the final four of the season on January 28.
