I have no idea what cable looks like over there, but I wonder if cable providers well lower the price since they are losing Disney. LOLOL. Yeah right....

Disney+ Confirms Gargoyles for Streaming Service
"I think if Disney put that show on a streaming service, it would do phenomenal business. People would binge the hell out of that show. When I think about Gargoyles, I think that Frank Paur and I created the perfect binge-watching show, we just did it 25 years too early."

Also, long list of movies coming to the service

Fair. Let's be real, kids aren't going to sit through the classic stuff because it looks dated and adults think they want to rewatch these old movies and won't.

Adults are getting the service for Star Wars shows.

Wonder how this works with Netflix. if you download The Office for offline viewing do you still get access once Netflix loses the rights? I am sure not.

I imagine, Disney still has all the rights to their content, they are just cycling all their available content. Whereas Netflix more-or-less leases all content except their own IPs.

That makes sense. I think Disney should just not do the "vault" like they do today. Put everything they have on the service and leave it there forever.

So like I said with Netflix. I just assumed all stuff on Disney+ would be owned by Disney because they own everything.

Seems like Disney wants to create a false sense of supply on their digital media. We'll have to see if stuff ever actually leaves the service.

I never knew there was a beef. I assume Disney+ is a day 1 launch on all set top boxes.
