I've probably forgotten enough of this movie that I wouldn't know what differences there are anyway, but that trailer didn't seem very familiar to me. Am I going to actually watch this?!

I'm sure that is by design so people think "it's a whole different movie!"

I'll MAYBE watch it, if it gets half way decent reviews. (It wont)

Which is their plan for sure. I won't be watching this weekend, but I'll maybe check it out eventually

I am 1/4th of the way through the Snyder cut. So far the first hour seems mostly the same from what I can remember from the 2017 movie. However, there most be additional things since I am at 1 hour and The Flash hasn't even shown up.

The biggest difference I actually notice is the villain design. Looks much better.

Almost half way done now. Holy cow this is long. I appreciate the more attention Flash and Cyborg is getting, but the more Cyborg is explained the more powerful he seems. He can move money anywhere, he can launch all the nukes. I wish there was more background on how he got these powers, other than his dad just saying "you can do all of this now". If he can take control of all the armies in the world, why does he need anyone?

"Motherboxes" is still just as dumb as ever. I know this is a comic thing, so I can't blame the movie for that.

The flashback fight with the gods, tribes, etc. I THINK that was in the original movie? But I cant remember. Maybe it wasn't since the movie didnt show Darkseid and that flashback was all about him. I did find it funny that 15 mintue flashback was how Wonder Woman was explaining things to Batman, and he just goes "okay" at the end of it. No questions or doubts. lol

I finished it last night. I think it took me 4-5 sititngs.

Yes, this is better than the original. Hands down. Is it worth the 4 hour investment though? Nearly 30 minutes of this was also a new epilogue that I did not like.

Cyborg and Flash get a lot more screen time. That was the biggest difference I saw. Cyborg is very important to this movie. I noticed some jokes being in the theatrical version, but not this one. Flash falling on top of Wonder Woman, Aquaman sitting on the lasso of truth.

Stephenwolf is actually a flushed out villain too. He was so generic in the other movie, but he has motives now and you understand a lot more about his relationship with Darkseid.

This movie is very flawed at times too, but the same way all super hero movies are. Why would Flash/Cyborg every just walk up the stairs when doing hero things? Always run or fly. Flash is always as fast as he needs to be for the task at hand, and then back to normal. Batman has no right holding his own ever against any of these people or villains.
