Pacific Rim

Postby Wallinguana » Mon Jun 24, 2013 12:13 pm

Just got asked to take a survey about the preview while I was at the mall. The guy said I gave him his favorite answer of the day when I was asked to describe it in one word. "Splosion-y"

Lolz. I don't know what to think of this movie. I'm interested since Guillermo del Toro is attached to it

That's essentially the opinion I gave. My exact words were "looks like a cross between transformers as rock em sock em robots. But I like the director so who knows?"

Adam Savage from the Myth Busters loved it

But he is a huge Guillermo del Toro and talks about his films all the time.

Tested is a weird site. It's not related to Mythbusters or Discovery at all. It's more a tech site that has Adam and Jamie do some featured random stuff

I really enjoyed it! We saw it in IMAX 3D and it was really fun to watch the robots fight the monsters! I definitely recommend seeing it

Jealous! I imagine this is a perfect movie for IMAX so you can really see the scale of the monsters and robots

Yeah it was way awesome. Plus it was cool to see an all original movie rather than a sequel or remake.
