This movie was beyond insane. Quite Literally. The warlords were just nuts, especially the awesomely hilarious guitar guy who played for like days without stopping. Props to that guy.

I don't know about seeing this after that type of drop. I guess I already have my soda and popcorn bucket ready so we better just go

The guitar guy made me laugh every time they showed him. I enjoyed the movie and it was great for what it was. I was hoping for a cameo from Babe the pig but guess I'll just have to hold on hope for that third installment in the franchise

I agree with Alex. I went into it expecting something and I got exactly that. The action was over the top and excellent. I liked the goons more in this one than the other installments because they at least resembled people and not animals. The different types of cars were entertaining just by themselves.

Fun fact: the main bad guy was played by the bad guy from the original movie. Not the same character, but the same actor.

I guess I just don't really like the whole Mad Max genre. Weird for the sake of weird doesn't appeal to me and if you don't buy into that it doesn't have any redeeming qualities.

That's what I felt about the original 3. Like I said about the goons in this, I thought they were a little more humanized than the baddies in all the others. There is a crazy guy who is withholding water and he is essentially a god to them. They follow his orders because he barely keeps them alive.

This movie had 1 big crazy guy, whereas the other movies everyone left in the world seemed to be crazy and it wasn't explained why.

But you are right, there are a lot of weird things for no reason... like a big guy with his shirt cut open so his moobs can hang out and they are tied together.

i thought it was best movie ever!!! It was awesome with action and sweet looking vehicles. Only thing I didn't think was necessary was the guitar playing guy, but man they burned a lot of fuel. I was laughing at how they just use the flame throwers for no reason.

Best movie of summer so far.

We went on Sunday and the only option was to see it with subtitles. Turned out to be the best decision ever, every time guitar dude was on screen subtitle was (continues playing rock music) easily my favorite part of the movie.

George Miller Says He Won’t Direct Another ‘Mad Max’ Sequel
I’ve shot in Australia in a field of wild flowers and flat red earth when it rained heavily forever. We had to wait 18 months and every return to the US was 27 hours. Those ‘Mad Maxes’ take forever. I won’t do those anymore.
