Jocelyn had never seen any of these so we watched 11 and 12 this weekend. Both are great films, but I like the first one more. A lot of the 2nd movie seemed pointless since they stole the egg so easily and early on, why did they get fake arrested when they had a lot ready won the bet?

I don't think I ever saw 13, worth it? I loved the first two...despite the same complaints about 12. There's something so fun and appealing about getting a large group of people together for some tomfoolery.

Watched the third one tonight. I agree with the standings above but I think the first is best by a greater margin. I did like watching them all back to back though because they connect nicely

Casting that could have changed the film:
Matt Damon's part as Linus Caldwell, pick pocket was meant for Mark Wahlberg.

Luke Wilson and Owen Wilson were to play the brothers Virgil and Turk, but dropped out to film The Royal Tenenbaums (2001).

Bruce Willis was originally cast as Danny Ocean, but had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts.

Alan Arkin was originally cast as Saul Bloom but dropped out due to personal reasons.

Maria wanted to watch these after watching Ocean's 8. I'll agree with the posted order. 11, 13, 12.

12 left me feeling stupid. The actual heist never took place during the movie's events. I felt that was cheating the audience. I did however really like the music from the movie.

I would even say 11, 13, 8, 12. 13 and 8 being a close tie.
