It's really good and you should be ashamed. I got my youngest sister the DVD of it a couple years ago (she would have been 11 at the time) but I don't know if she really liked it. She's dumb though.

You take time out of your busy schedule to sit down and watch the damn movie.

I have it saved on my DVR

One thing that you have to know going into it is that it is a very cheesy movie. Like unbelievably so. But that is the thing that you have to love about it. It is so such an over the top unbelievable love story that makes you want to be in love like they are. Throw in a swordsman avenging his slain father just the right amount of Fred Savage and it's just too good to be true.

How'd you know?! I think I tried starting it once and got bored quickly so I stopped. I'll give it another try.

22 Things You Never Knew About 'The Princess Bride'

This is crazy, because I finally watched this over the weekend without knowing it was the 30th anniversary. My boss brought in the DVD after hearing I've never seen it.

The movie was good. It's not making it into any "best of" lists for me, but I understand why people love this movie. The characters were fun, the staging of the story (within a story) added to things, the lines were funny. I only have positive things to say about it all.

My favorite scenes were Westly hanging on the side of the cliff and fighting Inigo Montoya (who is the bearded guy from Homeland...what?!). The battle of wits was also good.

Will I ever watch it again? No. Is my life altered because I saw it? No. Do I understand 2 different pop culture references after seeing it? Yes.

It's nostalgic for a lot of people which is why people have it in there top movie lists. Had you watched it earlier in life, then it would probably be more memorable.

That's what I told my boss. It was a perfectly fine movie, I'm just decades late to the party.

It's a fine movie but not something I want to watch over and over again. I get why people would though.

I really don't care for it at all. Never understood the super appeal.

I could see you loving it, you were born in the wrong decade. You're at least 20 years older than us.

Do you find it hilarious? Only a few moments made me laugh. What was your first exposure to it?

It isn't hilarious. I love it more for how sweet it is. It's a kissing movie and that's ok. It's also one that I know most of the lines and get excited when they are coming up. The sword fight with Inigo is probably my favorite. There's just so much respect and civility between them.

I don't remember the first time I saw it. Probably on tv in middle school or early high school.
