Perfect title for the sequel. Now we only need to wait 2 more years to see it.

I really enjoyed the first movie a lot more the second time around and can't wait that long either. It's all but confirmed that Adam Warlock will be involved since he's been hinted at for the Infinity War films; that has to be part of the connection to the rest of the MCU.

Finally found a kid at work who loves GOTG and will talk comics with me. He doesn't know much but I'm taking him on as my young Padawan and will teach him the ways of the force.

We discussed the first GOTG soundtrack today and hearing the perspective of a person under the age of 15 is hilarious. Kids don't know music at all but he loves the 80's tunes

That's adorable that you made a little friend. Going to give him some stuff to read?

Yeah, wish I hadn't donated my old comics now. I'll definitely look for the Archie to pay him back for letting me read his. Old Archie is fun to read. We discussed X-Men vs Avengers today but I think it might be over his head. It's hard talking GOTG comics because the original run was pretty complicated with annihilation and conquest too

Only Alex and I care, and Alex already knows, but a neat character from the comics we read is coming to the next movie.

Also, Matthew Mc turned down the main villain role in the movie....which no one has any idea about. I should probably look deeper in the comics, the answer is there. If Star-Lords father is going to be Adam Warlock...we could probably identify a main villian

MCU Head Kevin Feige: "I wouldn't look too hard in this movie for Thanos," Feige said, explaining that the film will instead be focused on adding new members to the team: "There've been many different incarnations of the Guardians over the years in the comics and we'll catch a glimpse of additions over the course of the movie."

Marvel Studios Begins Production on Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'
Principal photography begins in Atlanta for May 5, 2017 release!

New cast members include Pom Klementieff (“Oldboy”), Elizabeth Debicki (“The Great Gatsby,” “Everest”), Chris Sullivan (“The Knick,” “The Drop”) and Kurt Russell (“The Hateful Eight,” “Furious 7”).

Russell should be angry that he is credited for Furious 7 fame. I had to google to even remember his character in that.

This is the summer 2017 Marvel movie, right? Is this the only one? Does Thor 3 come out the same summer?

Did we only get 1 Marvel movie this summer and Dr. Strange is December?

The follow up to the greatest Marvel movie ever won't be out until May 2017, but in the mean time, enjoy the first international trailer...
